    DAGGET ...

The information released by the BRITS are only to position our very own BRITTISH trained PINOY COUNTERSNIPERES . Sakto si MARVIN , gi exaggerate na lang na siya . Ngano ang Brittish man ang naay information and not US or any other ASIAN countries na mismo apil sa ASEAN ? Its their intelligence should be the one working hard for their safety . Secondly , our SECURITY are up to par . Even the SPEC OPS are wide awake for DAGGETS safety .

i don't think it was exagerrated....

The US concurred with the British assessment.

The warning was to inform the local authorities to double their efforts and collect more information. and also keep the terrorist guessing if there cover was exposed

Its a minds game.... psychological warfare

Thats the whole point ... WHY RELEASE a STATEMENT then order the Pinoy INtelligence to " GATHER " more information when they ( BRITS ) have the info already ?? You just answered it amigo .. to prepare them for real world scenario as stated thru PSYWAR .

Then the SPEC OPS will just take care your relatives and friends then . Mo palyo pos sila ? Hehehe .... welcome to the real world of POLITICS and WORLD CURRENT EVENTS .

hats the whole point ... WHY RELEASE a STATEMENT then order the Pinoy INtelligence to " GATHER " more information...

The Brits didn't order... it was a warning

That statement was a wake up call for local authorities to increase their vigilance... or they won't act on the warning.... its their decision what to do

As I said it PSYWAR... Keep the enemy guessing....

In the same way the terrorist would also want the authorities guessing on their plans....

    As Omad said:

I hope this won't be another case of "I told you so".

Ok we'll use the word INFORM . That still would boil to a command inderectly because no matter what warning the Brits will give to its Brittish citizens , one way or the other they will still be in Cebu no matter what bisan 1 ra na siya kabuok .

I trust the capabilities of the personnel ordered for the mission ( safety and order ) during the summit .
