If Sony and Canon are your choices my best bet is the Canon kay mas better ang IQ sa Canon and mas barato ang mga lenses sa canon one thing pod is to consider unsa ang gipang gamit sa imo mga photography friends para dali ra mo improve kay dali ra man ka ma tudloan just in case.... I am a Nikon D7000 user if naa pa sa choices ang Nikon I will suggest Nikon hehehe.....

finally, consider that you are not just buying a camera body and a lens, you are buying into a system, it is that addictive. so identify the things that you want to do photographically, research if both systems can offer them: features, price, support, etc.

I think we already have a Nikon service center here in Cebu correct me if I'm wrong guys, If you are going to buy the Canon's nindot ang 60D or Canon 7D ako recommend nimo while sa Nikon D90, D7000, D300s. Maayo pod mo research sa internet that's what I used to do when I was planning to almost 3 months ko nag research ato. Canon 60D vs Nikon D7000 try this site naa sila blow by blow comparison.
