I understand there is a foot stomping issue, and it probably is illegal (Since Clottey was warned when he did this to Pac), doesn't matter since ref didn't spot it then (Compare Marquez's previous fights with Manny, no foot stomping then. Though it is supposedly natural because of of Pac's southpaw and JMM's Orthodox stances, it doesn't make sense how Marquez could step on Pacquiao's foot 6 times and never the other way around, it seems intentional). But all throughout the night, I was wondering what that yellow substance in the bottle was...



WBO Regulations clearly say that.
SECTION 28. DRUGS OR STIMULANTS
(a) The use of illegal or performance enhancing drugs or other stimolants before of during the Championship contest by any of the contestants shall be sufficient cause for the disqualification of the contestant guilty of said use. Only plain water may be given to a contestant in the course of the bout. Lubricants around the eyes is allowed in amounts within the Referee’s discretion; the use of lubricants, or any other substance on a contestant’s arms, legs and body is prohibited in Championship fights.

(b) The use of hemostats such as Thrombin, Avetine or Adrenalin 1/1000 solution shall be allowed between rounds to control the bleeding from minor cuts and lacerations sustained by a contestant as permitted by the roles and regolations of the Local Boxing Commission. If the Local Boxing Commission has no role concerning permissible hemostats, then only Adrenalin 1/1000 is permitted. Each contestant is obligated to know and comply with the roles and regolations of the Local Boxing Commission as to use of hemostats.

(c) The World Boxing Organization encourages all Local Boxing Commissions to conduct anti-doping tests before or after the fight. If the Local Boxing Commission conducts the tests, they shall be administered in accordance with the roles and regolations of the Local Boxing Commission.

I don't know if he had a waiver or consent for that. Not jumping into conclusions but it's definitely odd.

Before we get ahead of ourselves, we have to be objective about this foot-stomping issue. Are we sure Pacquiao himself didn't step on JMM's foot in this fight? Take a look at these photos from Pacquiao's FB page:



And then take a look at this video: PACQUIAO STOMPING ON MARQUEZ'S FOOT. I agree that this video's on a Pacquiao hater's channel, but it makes the point I'm going to make. Just listen to what the commentators in that video are saying about foot-stomping.

Whoever started this Marquez-is-a-dirty-fighter theory would be making a fool of himself if he raised this issue to the boxing commission. When the commission reviews the tape, they'll see both fighters committing the same so-called "errors". This is what normally happens when a southpaw fights an orthodox. There's bound to be headbutts and foot-stomping. We can't be ignorant about this.

Let's drop this. Pacquiao won. We should all be happy about that and not be SORE WINNERS. This will just make us all look bad in the eyes of the sporting world.

Pacquiao is the better fighter. Marquez is a worthy adversary, and definitely not a dirty fighter. Shame on those who started the nasty rumor!

Ricah Trinidad is father of chino trinidad, I never read his article. Pacquaio clearly won the fight becuse he is the aggressor, JMM style nver impressed three of the judges because he never showed the desire to win, he waits and waits and waits pacman to attack, which is wrong. Now he cries that he was robbed, jmm is always sore loser. I just don't know with the other boxer who favored JMM over pacman. Maybe they just want attention since its the top trending now
