Daghan na sila ug tactics. Like the problem of the TS, usa na sa ila "Money Making Scheme".

    Let me explain this "Scheme".

On a certain flight, example, for every 150 seats, there is an allotted 10 seats that are on super sale (e.g. "piso" fare).

Now, on the day of the flight itself, if the management finds out that there are several people on the chance passenger list, the 10 "discounted" seats are their first priority to bump off.

If the chance passenger is earlier than the person who purchased the seat on sale, then the latter is bumped off the flight. Not a single F**K is given; you are simply out. Cebu Pacific Management is very creative in conjuring reasons why you are being bumped off; from you being late to check or the flight has left early. The flight leaving early is another scheme.

If the amount of chance passengers are more than the seat sale passengers, and these chance passengers are earlier than majority of the seat sale passengers, then the flight will suddenly leave earlier than usual. This was the case of the TS.

For an ethical airline, deliberately bumped off passengers should be given a chance to take the next flight; since it was the airline's decision to bump them off for profit, it is their responsibility to ensure that the passenger is accommodated.

For an airline like Cebu Pacific, bumped off passengers are screwed and hopeless. To add more injury, they will even make you purchase an exorbitant seat if you insist that you take the flight you already paid for.

This is Cebu Pacific at it's best. Never trust this airline. People may have PRO's about CEB, but once you get to taste the CONS, you will definitely LOATHE this airline.

I have too much self respect to take this airline.

Fortunately, there is a way. It may be a hassle to us, as it involves effort and a little money. But, the rewards are great. Proud to say I did this TWICE. Yes, twice. Call me bitter, but revenge is sweet.

In order to get back at any LOW COST airline which has done you wrong, I have devised an ingenious plan (legal, of course).

    1. Purchase any discounted fare that is not too painful to waste. (e.g. Piso, 88 or 188 fare). You may opt to buy more (reason will be disclosed later).

    2. On the day of your flight, pack up boxes with nothing but trash (e.g. papers, or boxes inside boxes). This will serve as your check-in baggage.

    3. Check in.

    4. After checking in, leave airport premises. Do a no-show. Your luggage will be loaded on to the aircraft, and when you fail to show up for boarding, they will off-load your luggage for security reasons. This will result in a delayed flight, and every delay costs $$$. This will frustrate other passengers, thereby discouraging them from flying with this hell of an airline.

    5. Do not claim the luggage you left behind. Have the airline do the hassle of disposing it for you. Upon purchasing ticket, leave behind a bogus number to avoid the airline contacting you. For added effect, write down the City Morgue number as your own.

    6. Repeat as desired with the cheap tickets you bought earlier.

    TOTAL COST: PHP1000+

    TOTAL LOSSES FOR AIRLINE: PHP50,000++

    F**K YEAH!
mao ni makaamong, kani nga incident(s) ang reason why airlines sell vacant seats esp. on peak seasons, if dli mka.check in ug sakto nga oras.. Its the passengers responsibility to be there on time or earlier the better as stipulated in the agreement.. Plus its additional revenue if mabaligya ug balik ang vacant seats..
Just because somebody stepped on your toe doesnt mean its right to sabotage any company. A complaint is much suited I think.. If you wanna be treated VIP style, earn a frequent flyer status..

Not only does it affect private companies but the country's economy as well.. Low cost airlines actually provided the competition to lower down fare prices for air travel in the country..

bumping off is actually very common.. in all airlines.. I have availed more than a couple of times with FOC (free of charge) travel for having a family member work at cebpac.. As common sense tells me, im not on the priority list because I've paid less than the other passengers and thats fine by me.. So each time, im at the airport way earlier so as to get a priority number for chance passengers, esp. on peak seasons.. Once a passenger has not checked in at the time they were supposed to.. I get a smile on me face.. hehehe.. But truth be told, I dont have immunity as well, even if I am earlier than others on FOC, if that late guy or gal has higher rank than my family member, like a manager or a pilot captain on vacation, im bumped off as well for the next flight..

A complaint is much suited, oh yes, but your complaint is as good as useless.

If a company has stepped over a lot of toes, then I guess, with the amount of vindictive people around, it will endure retribution.

It would be very okay to forgive Cebu Pathetic, but kung bastos sila, will you be forgiving?

Wa pka nka suway nga nag byaan no, bisan ni check in ka more than an hour before? Because ana na sila, bisan pa more than one hour, nya cheap imo ticket, TY.

It is stated on the terms and conditions that you have to check in at least two hours before. I understand that some people check in an hour or
even 45mins before your flight, which is a very ample time to handle your booking and luggage. Anything less than 45mins would be considered bumped off. I agree to this. Bisag consideration na lng sa mga pasahero nga ga buhi nila, WA JD. Kay mas important ang $$$.

Passengers are very considerate. With flights cancelled or delayed, passengers may complain but can't do anything about it, and it's the airline's fault.

When it's time for the passengers to ask for consideration, all they get is a SLAP, and they are bumped off.

Thank you Cebu Pacific, for showing us that your promo fares, which totally make up most of your revenue, are on your least priority.

Bumping off is actually very common, in Cebu Pacific. No other low cost airline has a reputation like it.

Trust me, I've taken a lot of other low cost airlines before, but nothing stinks more than CEB.

Why? Because other low cost airlines, no matter how cheap your ticket is, still value the customer. A paid seat is a promised seat.

Kulang na lng nga for every flight, mo hangyo sila nga ang mga barato ug pliti, adto mo sa BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT kay you do not deserve a seat in the cabin.

I am only defending those people who are rejected to board even if they arrived more than one hour before the scheduled ETA, and those people who were poorly treated by the exceptional customer handling skills of the management.

No Industry nor company is perfect, as I still would take retribution unjust..
Ive come to understand that sometimes, rudeness also has its cause and effect.. hehe,
As for considerations, my stand would be on a case to case basis, for the reason that is, its a business, not a charity..
