It won't matter bro if your challenger or not. Inutokay mana ang boxing. Ngano mo abante man c marquez and risk getting hurt like Hatton and Margarito if kung mka Circle cya sa left ni pacquiaio then hurt manny and exposed him. Tactical kaayo ang fight nila. And this Tactical Fights favors technical fighters like marquez.

The thing about Marquez is that while he did cut the ring well, he also did not throw many punches while he circled, had he thrown more jabs while he was moving, he would have won the fight. I initially thought it would be a draw or Marquez by 1-2 rounds right after the fight. While mas daghan ug rounds nga klaro daog si Marquez(4-3 on my count), the other 5 rounds were really very difficult to score and I think the judges gave that to Pacquiao, him being a champion.

Methinks Pacquiao will eat Bradley alive but it will be another fight that Pactards want because they will see another Pacman dominated fight. Hilaw pa kaayo si Bradley, it took too long for him to take out Casamayor yesterday tungod sa kamaru ni Casamayor.

The more rationale fight is Pacquiao-Marquez 4 then Mayweather with a rematch clause. Ultimate test for the P4P label

Why Manny won:
In a 10-point system, the boxer* who wins a round is given 10 points, and the other * boxer gets nine points. (10 -9)
If there was a * knockdown in the round (10-
2 knock downs (10-7)
If a* judge can't decide who won the round, it is* scored 10-10.
Now if u are the challenger, u must be* the aggressor (Pacquiao vs Cotto) in very close* rounds the* Champion gets the 10. For example if* Pacquiao would just stay still and Marquez does not* attack, Pacquiao gets the 10 and Marquez 9. In this* case Manny(champion) was always aggressive while* Marquez(challenger) waits for an attack and* counters.
Marquez's body language fooled a lot of* people. Making people feel that he was the winner or* at least it was a draw. It may look like he was* landing more punches but the tricky part here is he* was on the defensive, luring pacquiao into his * tactical traps (remember the challenger must be the one* who is aggressive to be awarded 10 ). So even if * Marquez did connect more punches he gets only 9 for * being defensive and Manny gets the 10 for being the * attacker.

that is actually the unwritten rule in boxing. if you are the challenger, you definitely have to be aggressor to prove that you deserve the win. never in the history of professional boxing specially in big fights has the challenger been awarded for not being aggressive. even if your style is a counter puncher like Marquez, you still gotta show that you really wanna win and that you deserve to win by attacking and beating the hell out of your opponent. Clearly, Marquez did not show that last fight. He acted like he was the champion and Pacman was the challenger. I think he was just scared that he will get knocked out again in early rounds just like what happened to their previous fights. Trauma so to speak.

Marquez keeps on asking the same question since the result of their 2nd fight. "what do i need to do to change the judges mind?", stupid question if you asked me. the answer is really simple. ATTACK or go for TKO. either way, he wasnt able to do that. thus the result of the scorecards. people tend to complicate things. watch more boxing fights guys not just those with Pacquiao in it.
