this thread is very informative... canvassing mode pa ko ron for a street or sport bike na affordable then economical sa fuel (mahal naman gud kaayo ang gasoline)... a smaller engine displacement will do for my need. had set my eyes on this one (CB110) kay na intriga ko sa pag basa nko sa inyohang mga comments then affordable pa gyud kaayo ug price...

pwede ko hangyo sa mga CB110 owners... pwede mo maka post sa pics sa bikes ninyo? gamit kaayo ni sa mga peeps na wla sa atoa man gud... i'm one of them... nag pa canvass ko sa akoang sis sa du ek sam (tabok, mandaue) ron kun pila ang price sa ani na motor para naa ko'y ma hinuktokan dri... hehehe...

it is nice to hear that you are considering cb110 for your canvassing. it is indeed informative here. honda cb110 is for me a mix of both sport and street bike. for me i tagged CB as a "cruise bike" or i think i heard it is a "commuter bike". but whatever, for me it is a "cruise or cruiser bike". you can feel the swiftness of your ride in long travels and the fuel economy. the sleek design sometimes mislead you that it might be like that of the cbr150 that draws your body forward as you mount on it. but ironically, its ergonomics is very well designed giving comfort to both the driver and the passenger.

smaller displacement? well it is a 110cc so fuel economy-wise is a no problem. but the trick is, the torque is quite impressive in the uphills for a 110cc bike. dili sakit sa bulsa para sa fuel. in my 3rd month with my cb110 i was able to record roughly 600 km for my 9.6 liter tank. you can do the rest of the computations later.hehehehehe. we could hardly compare its speed to tha kawasaki rauser 135 because they have four-valve engines so that means extra push from the fuel burned. but they are sure quite faster on the road than our cb110, technically.

we all have our preferences in selection that would fit to our personalities as to what kind of things we want to have. you still have a lot of choices to choose from.take your time. that's what i did until this cb110 came in the Phils 4th quarter of 2010. although this is not a perfect bike but it fits perfectly with me. hope it fits with you too

thanks bro... you mentioned kawasaki rouser 135... it's one of my choices too... at first, i was drawn to honda and yamaha... but after pondering specially on the price of both bikes from the 2 manufacturers, i decided that both were too much for my planned budget and i can't always use it since i'm out of the country... the prices of the cb110 and the rouser 135 caught my attention as well as their design & purpose... i'll continue to monitor all the threads that will tackle both bikes... hehehe...

my need now is not for speed but just for fun as well as for commute... i'm a slow driver... hehehe...

same tag dilemma bro before ko nipalit sa akong CB110.. i was torn between CB110 and Rouser 135.

akong giprioritize akong needs sa motor, 1st gyud kay ang fuel consumption. I did a lot of research before buying my bike.. base sa experience sa mga users (esp sa mcp), CB110 runs around 50km/L-60km/L.. and ang Rouser kay mga 40km/L-50km/L..

Im not so concerned sa displacement kay di sad ko mag-racing2x..igo ra city driving, from home to work and vice versa.. and base pud sa reviews, CB110 outperforms some 125cc bikes..

Base pud sa akong nabasahan bro kay daghag factory defects ang Rouser esp katong mga una nigawas, (no offense sa mga arousers, base lang ni sa akong nabasahan sa mcp and other bike forums)

And ako pung gi CASH akong motor bro and that time medyo dako2x ang difference sa CB110 ug Rouser, around 6k gyud.. so medyo sakit2x ug Rouser akong kwaon and mas salig sad kos Honda.. (not to take anything away from Kawasaki/BAJAJ)

Mas daghan pug Colors available ang CB110 bro, so daghan kag kapili-an hehe.. Black, Red, Blue, Gray. . ug katong nanganvass ko kay bag-o ra sad nigawas ang Rouser ato so Black ra puros available ug wala pay Red and medyo taas2x pa ang price that time..

before ko nipalit akong gisuwayan ug sakay ang duha, medyo taasan ra ko gamay sa Rouser pud.. hehe..

base ra ni sa akong research bro before ko nikuha sa akong bike (i could be wrong in a lot of things ) and i dont want to start a flame bait sa mga aRousers.. peace mga bro.. hehe..

thanks for your inputs. same pud ko nimo, once decided nako unsa na model akoang paliton, akoa lang i-cash para dili mo mahal. in the long run, gaan sa bulsa nato... sakit2x lang ang initial cash outlay kay bulto man. mao, sugod ko dri ug tigum... kun maka uli next yr, sa end of jan '12 (during the chinese new year), basin sakto na ang tigum na budget para sa motor... then decided na gyud pud ko kun unsa ang paliton na model...

i'll continue to monitor the discussion threads gyud kay dako kaayo ni tabang during decision analysis...

Naa ko observation pud diay, sa engine cover upgrade para sa CB110. sa akoang tan-aw, ma defeat ang design sa bike (aning CB110). air cooled engine ra man gud ni. dili man ni sya water cooled... then butangan ug cover, basin mo over heat kun long rides... observation lang ni nako ha pero, maka add ug pogi points sa appearance nya... hehehe...
