What quality are you referring to?
Apple was ran by a dictator, who hated the idea of "Free", "Open Platform" and "Competition" and that can be seen with the current state of iOS being "Locked". Yes, its a great OS but people want more like being able to bluetooth transfer with other phones, not just with a device that starts with an i... and I don't like being told, I'm holding my phone the wrong way..ahaha
or are you talking about the build quality of the phone?
Apple iPhone = Glass
HTC = unibody aluminum
you do the math...

P.S. you gotta love apple updates....calling it new features when other devices had it for a long time..

i have macbook air and an ipod touch..now im looking for a phone that will fit my what they say "flavor of the month" (pul anun) hehe..so i will buy a phone bisan unsa ka expensive as long as dle ko pul-an..so im choosing betweeen iphone4 and htc evo3d..

^ I dont know if u are a girl or a boy... mostly sa girls, they prefer iphone 4...

mga lalaki mas ganahan kaayu mga android phones kaysa mga girls...

if you are looking for a quality, go to HTC, but i am not sure if HTC have gorilla glass... try browsing the youtube and type iphone drop test...

im a gurl, sometimes boy if my hubby will hack my account..hehe.. btw, i really like htc..my friend has one, and i was about to choose iphone, bt when i went to apm, and colon, dghan kaau imit ai...so, disappointed..hehehe

kng nahan kag malingaw kas imu fon like sa pag gamit mga apps, games, etc, sa htc ka.. kng nahan kas praktikalay nya mka online ka prmi nga d ka mag problima sa battery, grabe ka superior sa blackberry.
