I believe they are using YBCO.
Yttrium barium copper oxide - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It's an amazing high temperature superconductor. We call it HTCs in our lab.

What makes is amazing is that it is superconducting at 93K!! This means you can use liquid nitrogen which is at 77K to cool it down.
We have several YBCO strips in our lab which we use for our experiment. It's really cool because you can just dip it in liquid nitrogen and you can get more than 20Amps through without heat being produced by YBCO.
Going back to magnetic levitation, here's a video from our institute showing a mini MagLev train and how efficient it can be.
