Hello! The competition was great. K9CARE Dog Sport brought 8 trophies total. For k9 nose work, the NACSW was not able to send a certifying judge to title our dogs. So the host club (betterdog) just came up with a fun match to which dog can find the birch in regards with time.

As of now I am renovating the school and it will be ready by the 2nd week of November. Pls pm me your contact details so i could easily inform u. tnx!

Thank you! Yes we joined agility, disc dog (frisbee), and nosework.

In that picture "AMIGA" is our native ASPIN dog which I only joined her in Nosework that time.

I started training her in nose work class 1:building value to search last July and nose work 2:introduction of the scent last August so we could join the October competition.

YES She is an Aspin or Askal. I adopted her when she was still 2 mo. old last June 2010 after our 1st Dog Agility Competition here in Cebu. I got her from our company guard who that time had rescued a bitch with litter from the streets.

I chose to adopt an aspin because i got feedback from people that they have limited skills and hard to train. As a trainer I have to see it for myself if the statement is true. After a year Amiga and I had a chance to try to compete in the 2nd Cebu Dog Agility National Competition last May 2011. Unfortunately we did not win any trophy but I was very proud of her because we finished the whole course.

It was not really my first plan to train her in nose work. When I enrolled in a nose work class it was actually my border collie that brought. After the introduction and lecture part where my teacher told us that breed does not matter in the sport any dog can do nose work. That is when I thought that why limit Amiga in agility... why not train her also in nose work.
