recently i have noticed daghan2x na jud og spam bots dri sa istorya
im just curious nganu mka lusot man sila og post...

dali ra man mahibaw-an ang ila gpang post ky ang thread title is a question
then ang content is a link na gi-shorten ang URL
and also wrong grammar
like example below

kinda annoying man jud...

Obvious ra ba kaayo. Kay kung imo binisay-an kay dili motubag.
Most often, ilang ma-post is 1 or 2 ra jud.

I have reported some.
Pero naa jud ko'y na-report nga ila ra gipasagdan.

I have read somewhere that SPAMS can bring down a website.

Anyway....ang mga Modz ray bahala ani nila.

they are not BOTS they are simply Human Spammers... afaik vBulletin ligon siyag spam protection compared to other OpenSource bulletin board...

exactly lisod i prevent ang HUMAN SPAMMER... naa bitaw onetime diri ni reply ang spammer... hahahahaha firstime...

pwede man i IP Banned, pero maamong ang uban... the only way is to delete the user... which is time consuming...

normally spam bots's username are AlphaNumeric... pero depende gihapon sa SPAM LORD...

base from my experienced thats the disadvantage if opensource ang bulletin board, vBulletin afaik is not an opensource...

we could simply kill the auto link parsing. that would disable a user's ability to create clickable links. at least when it's treated as text other users can visibly see the nature of the links.

we sacrifice convenience but we have no choice. gi abusar man.
