I think Intel will delay Ivy or Haswell and so on until AMD comes out with a lineup of worthy competition to Sandy. Until then will they launch the next-in-line processor family. There's just no point in beating to death something which is already handicapped in the first place. So Sandy is here to stay for a longer period..

you could be right but i think intel loves beating AMD. The reason for the delay could be that Intel could delay ivb to milk more money from their lose of the series 6 recall. im just hoping they would stick to their roadmap.
