Wla lagi pero ni predict ra ko ba ug ni hatag ko sa ako opinion ba nga ako prediction wa ra na sila paki. In the first place kung ni paki sila ila na ta na g tarong kay para man sad na sa citizens divaaa. But kung media, mu paki man sila kay ma kitan man nga g neglect and they can be held responsible for that, mas ma pressure sila kay daghan ang nakakita. Im sure u guys get my point. Kapoya ani oi sge lang ko balik2x! bsta mauna ako opinion.

I fully understand where MaTits is coming from with her concerns of personal security and it's not unfounded. People have been 'silenced' for much lesser reasons by shady individuals (are we sure the Mayor is actually clean) just to preserve kunuhay the unblemished image of the politician.

I think that MaTits was truly shocked when she saw what happened to her beloved hometown playground and that the time she posted the pictures here was still part of her knee-jerk response. At the time she may have been angry and had a definite plan but as the discussions went on and the members here urged her to take action in order to get results, she kinda buckled under that pressure. No offense to MaTits kay it happens to all of us.

I would venture to add that the reluctance on her part was also because she was not directly involved. Di siya apektado on a daily basis. Pero if she were directly affected kada adlaw ani na issue, I think her response would be more determined.

I had a rant thread here myself -- kadtong about sa guba na dalan dapit sa SM. I think I called DPWH 3 or 4 times because of that road. I also aired my grievance sa TV morning show na 'Hello Cebu Maayong Buntag Pinoy' that airs every morning. I think nag-pursige jud ko adto tungod kay apektado ko daily kay diha man gaagi ang mga jeep padung Mandaue sauna. Here's the thread: https://www.istorya.net/forums/politi...sa-cebu-4.html

Karon wa na ko gaagi didto pero last time I passed there naa man to mga bulldozers na and naa to portions na gisugdan na ug trabaho so I dunno if my reklamo was effective or not but I sure as hell tried. Looking back, makatawa lang ko sa tubag sa Engineer. Daghan pasumangil. Niabot na sa point na moingon to iyang alalay na naniudto daw... Naniudto ug alas 2?

Going back to this, my question here is does it have to be handled as a reklamo? Why not try a different approach? You know man has a wide range of emotions and we can pick one that we can manipulate on our subject.

For isntance -- Why not treat it as some form of kawanggawa? If naa ta small extra cash, mamalihug ta sa atong mga panday na paryente or kaila sa Bogo na ayuhon gamay ang playground to make it safe for the kids. Surely, people from the Town hall will notice this. How do you think they would react when they know na lungsuranon na ang nagtrabaho sa playground?

Or you can walk up to the Mayor and say "Mayor, patabang unta mi. Kani bitaw playground nato amo unta ipa-trabaho then mag-solicit unta mi sa imoha ug gamayng cash para ibayad namo sa panday" or something to that effect. If we find it hard to walk-up to the Mayor, naa man gyud nay mga alalay ni niya na iyang gitahasan na maghuna-huna ug unsaon pagpa-nindut sa inyung lungsod. Find that person and talk to him/her/it.

My point is that there are more than one way to handle a situation, and I would advice at looking into that rather than treating this as a reklamo. More often than not you will surely encounter hostility kay modepensa sad pud baya ang tawo na imong gireklamo. Try to appeal to the human side and try to approach at a more unexpected angle.

Personally, I don't think the media will bite this ... not unless you put some twist of sensationalism on it. If mo-bite man ugaling sila, you would be at the last slot sa ilang queue hehehe. I think they would prioritize kanang issues na daghan kaayo ang affected, and there is a mix of controversy involved (for example si Mayor dunay anomalya, etc.)

Thanks. Taasa na man diay ani oi... LOL!

Oh and by the way, for those who are looking for the original photos, it's still there. You just have to know how to look for it.

    @ BLACK.RED ...

Aw ban gyud ilabi na ug CLONE ka .

    @ MATITS ...

The statements towards your actions which was te expose per se was not a form of a personal attack or judging who you are . It was a form of enlightening on your part . If nakuha nimo ang chance to take pictures of the place na hazardous kaayo specially sa bata , there is no reason na di nimo ma report to since you were there already ion the first place . Nag unsa diay ka didto ? You can also check the date of the thread when you started this and the date I reacted on your " expose " .

Mura gud na ug naa ta unpleasant experience say sa isa ka restaurant , we dont come here , rant and badmouth the place unless we have spoken to the owners or managers which I know seldom happens . Same na sa issue nimo , if dili nimo aksyunan aw walay mahitabo gyud .

If we dont become a part of the solution , we will always be a part of the problem .

To end this , thread will be locked as per your request .
