- unplug all usb devices, check if mo pas2x ba siya.. i've read somewhere before na naa uban mga usb devices mka cause ani.. kana bitaw mga legacy usb devices.. naa sad uban mga usb gaming devices..

try sa na.. if need jud nimo na mga usb devices nimo.. adto sa bios..
- disable legacy usb support, check kung mo pas2x nba ang boot
- kung di pajud mada.. try gani transfer tanan nimo g plug sa usb 2.0 adto sa usb 3.0

boss i think applicable lang ni siya during first boot, once the OS installed the drivers of this devices properly dli nman ni momatter during boot unless ang program na gigamitan kay autorun during windows starts...

My boot time improves after changing the option in msconfig>boot>advance options> number of processors (maxed for me 4(i5 2500K)) and under sa start-up disable ubang programs na dli necessary na mo autostart.

Ang big factor for me is the OC set-up in the bios, if disable OK ra ang boot time, if around 4Ghz mokusog gamay. kaexperience ko ug hinay na boot around 4.6to4.8Ghz auto OC but once in windows already stable ang 4.8GHz OC. I preferred 4.6GHz though para dli kaau saba akong fans...

asrock z68 extreme4 gen3 user here.
naa lang ko issue... ngano medjo dugay2x man akong boot time. ako nabantayan ky dugay kaayo sa windows 7 splash screen. around 30-40 seconds siguro. it would take 57 seconds+ to load everything in my desktop. pila inyo?

naay settings sa bios nga kinahanglan usbon?

try press the cmos clock or download the new 1.1 bios..para ma update nmu imu bios...

also ask lng ko boss about sa imu rig,, cause kita ko sa imu rig sa smyr, sa imu 8pin power connector mura ra lge 4pin imu gamit ngd2...?

My WD My Book 2TB USB 3.0 seems to be causing the problem. Kung wala siya naka-plug, boot-up time nako ky around 25 seconds ra. Kung naka plug gali ky 45-55 seconds if i-include ang POST.

Just for clarification diay mga bossing... ang boot up time diay ky madugay kanang ig-display sa windows splash screen kanang naay text nga "starting windows" with black background. But once masulod na sa windows environment, which I mean the desktop is already displayed, paspas ra man nuon mu-load ang startup programs. I think at that point ang bottleneck.

@friedrich: yep, external drive would also add up sa boot time.. labi na tong mga dagko og capacity nya daghan sulod.. basahon man gud na cya sa OS inig boot gud..

mao bitaw to pag start nag ask ko nimo unsa mga HD imong gamit.. u forgot to clarify/mention naa diay ka 2TB na external.. hehehe..

pero gud to know boss nga na sulbad na nimo gujab!
