Pag dili mo kabalo mag interpret sa usa ka simple satellite image, ayaw nalang mo pag conclude or point fingers kung kinsay sayop or dili. PAGASA is only a DATA INTERPRETING BODY--THEY ARE NOT MAGICAL BEINGS NOR GODS NGA MAKA-PREDICT 100% SA UNSAY MAHITABO.

As early as Monday, klaro naman to nga dili dyud mag signal number 2 or 3 sa Cebu area kay according to the US NAVY Joint Typhoon Warning Center data (nga pipila ka times na nako gi post diri) klaro kaayo nga once over landmass, mohinay dyud ang hangin sa usa ka WX disturbance, and then it will regain speed once it's over the South China Sea. So far, ang behavior sa anomaly kay within EXPECTED parameters man dyud.

PAGASA also cross check their own data with JTWC data and other weather bureaus, and their conclusions are also based on an amalgam of their own data, plus data from other sources. The bottom line is one should not put their faith 100% sa usa ka DATA INTERPRETING organization, kay once parameters change, wala man dyud ka'y mahimo.

^^ just like what rodsky said, di ta mopoint daun sa pag-asa nga saup sila kay number 1, di sila ginoo nga kabalo ug asa padung or ipinpoint mismo kung asa moagi ang bagyo. they are only interpreting as what they are seeing on satellite feed images.

ug kita pod, di lang pod ta moblame2x nga way pulos ang pagasa kay kung naunsa ning kalibutan run(weather change) tungod ra pod ni natu..mao nga magsugod na ta ug change...bisan paglabay lang ug gamay nga basura and imbis nga ilabay sa dalan why not ihipos lang usa sa bulsa ang then ilabay kung naay basurahan...kung kita tanan mobuhat ani makakita jud tag limpyu nga cebu ug kung naa may baha, dali ra mawala...

@rodsky, i admit im not that pro reading storm data but pag asa forecasted yesterday @5am (10/11), Ramon will be 90km north of cebu on thursday morning.

Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center
Movement: West Northwest at 17 kph
Current location as of 4am: 360 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur
    Coordinates : 7.7°N, 129.7°E

i don't know yet when ramon passed cebu. do you know the specific time and day? we were expecting it thursday paman gud unta.
Also, what apparatus do you think should pag asa "try" to get para mapalambo pa ilang pag forecast sa future bagyo?
