People dying (because they acted and lived for what they believed in) deserve our respect if not our admiration. Communist or not, a deceased person was a person and we ought to respect that.

One communist's fault isn't the sin of all communists. It's like saying that all Filipinos are thieves because every single day we hear or read about corruption, plunder and robberies happening in the Philippines, done by Filipinos.

It's fun reading long words that I rarely come across and the opinions of really intelligent individuals but there should be a limit to how far one can curse people for their beliefs. Chill.

I find it ironic to say this, but you seem to live in an ideal world where the rich and elite are mostly "good" and "mean no harm"--far from the truth. Your views WILL actually WORK, PROVIDED there is an EQUAL PLAYING FIELD, but how can you have an equal playing field when one side already "pre-prepared" things so that it benefits them rather than the majority? The ones in power will NATURALLY make it SEEM as if there's a level playing field when in fact, they are so far ahead than the rest and that's why they hide their smirk each time someone utters the phrase "Under capitalism and free enterprise, everyone will have an EQUAL chance..."

I really suggest you first read the PSR. If you haven't read it, we have no basis for discussion, because all that you will be posting here are views that are bereft of the POV of WHY these people are conducting the struggle IN THE FIRST PLACE. These aren't crazy, misguided, troublemakers that the ones in power want you to see them--they have REASON to do what they feel they need to do, and unless you examine these reasons with a FREE THINKING MIND, instead of the mind that the ones in power want you to have, then there is no basis for proper and fair discussion.

communism is actually in essence a great system if it will work.
before we discuss on that lets take a peek first into the different model of society man has ever live through.

at first there was what we called primitive communal which in its core as a society is a primitive type of communism.

why?

early human being does not have a notion of private property. tools for hunting are own by the group or the family. foods are distributed according to the needs of each member. but during those days man is a slave of nature. so the conflict in this form of society is external which is man and nature.

by the way let me tell this that in every society there is a conflict which drives and makes the said society moving. in the case of primitive communal society, the conflict is between man and nature.

moving forward, some individual was able to own tools for hunting or production but they were able to attain it through force. if you are the strongest then you have the right to wield weapon and claim things as yours. and so private property began. all of this leads to slavery. those who have the power rule through brute strength. and so a new model of society was born in which the conflict is driven by slave and master. we call this a slavery society. slaves are use to produce and provide for their masters.

farming was invented. of course the slaves become the farmers and the masters became the landlords. this relationship gives rise to a new society. feudal society. the conflict is no longer between master and slaves but landlords and farmers which in its way has a different type and level of exploitation. there is no doubt farmers were exploited for the benefit of the landlords.

industrial revolution came. we have now factories and such. the farmers became workers in factory own by businessmen. so a new relationship is born. it is between workers and capitalist. in this system the capitalist rules and exploited the workers. and so we call this society capitalist society.

so a man in europe said that workers in the world will unite because they are fed up that they are exploited by capitalist and because of this they will launch their revolution and change society into a society which is more concern not on profit but on the social needs of the individual. there will still be capitalist but they will not rule the society but the workers which is basically 99% of the population. we call this socialist society.

once the countries of this world is already a socialist society the elite or capitalist class will disappear because each individual is not for profit anymore but more about the social need of the society as a whole and of course our individual need as social being. so meaning there will be no internal conflict within the society. however i said awhile ago that each society is driven by conflict. this new society has no internal conflict anymore. this could could only mean one thing. external conflict like the primitive communal. so this time man who is once again working as a whole or as one class against nature. but this time man is well equipped to tame some aspect of nature. we call this communist society because man has one goal. its common goal is to survive as a one community with no internal conflict or class.

i would say that communism can not be achieve as long as our culture remains this way. we have to change totally to achieve such blissful society. in our current way of thinking it is impossible but perhaps in the future man will achieve it or else we will be perish as a specie. the truth is we need to be a communist society to master nature and conquer the universe or else we are doomed.
