The best emergency lights are not the ones that require batteries or are electric/electronic in nature. Try to invest in cyalume (rave/glow) sticks--they are GUARANTEED light sources. Granted they only last for a short time, but in DIRE emergency situations where the conditions are that of wet/damp/flooded conditions, these little sticks are lifesavers.

NOTE: I DO NOT sell these sticks--basin ingon ang uban nga I'm trying to market this via this post, and taking advantage of the situation--I am merely presenting a fact--if all other light sources fail, this won't, all you need is to bend it and you're good.

Bitaw, nindot sad jud ning glow sticks. Not sure if naa nay baligya ani diri sa cebu nga klase sa glow sticks.

But for me, I have my iTP A3 EOS with three output levels - Medium 18 lumens (10 hours) -> Low 1.5 lumens (130 hours) -> -High 80 lumens (4 hours) on Energizer Lithium Batteries. And it's waterproof.
