UPS problem...

ako ng gicharge following the suggestions of our fellow istoryans, then mao man nakbutang sa manual... mga 10 hours...(giplug lang nako ang ups, wala nako gi.on ang switch since, mao man nakabutang sa manual sad) UNFORTUNATELY, ganiha, as i was trying to test it out, giibot nako ang plug ug bOOm, palong nasad akong comp...then if ibalik nako ug on with the back up battery sa UPS, mo.on siya, ang sakit kay mo.on nuon siya after na na.off ang comp, na.defeat ang purpose nga back up battery during emergency brown outs, dili man sad guro overloaded kay akong system specs
athlon 4800+ dual core
2 gb ram
2 hdd (160) ug 500 gb
asrock mobo
1 gb 4650 ddr3
ug usa ka usb flash drive connected sa likod
then monitor nga 16 inch lcd...
500w fsp PSU

kay kung overloaded pa, then dili unta moboot ang pc after nako g.unplug ang UPS sa outlet...

any idea.. gisapot jud ko ani..makaguba jud ug comp sige ug testing nako ani....TIA

mayb this is one of those UPS na not fit for active PFC psu...

-try daw charge balik na naka ON ang switch sa UPS but without load, im not sure why dapat na sya OFF kung mag plug.

naa diay ani nga scenario sir? nga incompatible ang UPS sa features sa PSU?
wa jud ko alams ani dah..

actually natry na nako ang setup nga servo avr to ups to pc....but mao man japon ang problem...so, mao ni ask ko if ok ra ba to nga setup kunb ibaylo, although murag useless na man paminwon since ang ups mismo kay moregulate na sa current...

mao jud bro automatic regulated man tingali ang ups but mas maau kung naa ka avr dn ups to regulate the flow of voltage to your ups para dli sad madaot daun imo ups ang ma regulate ana nya is ur voltage nga dli ma over or under para dli madaot inu gadget nag ge laod ana basta taas lng pod ug capacity imu ups than ur load para dli sad kaau bug at sa ups nimu bro

naa guro na blema imo na palit nga UPS brad, pa ilisi nlang na sa imo gi palitan....

maypa intex nalang imo gi palit brad, kay naka palit ko sa GI adtong Wednesday, wla jud blema, deretso pa nko gamit wlay charge2x ok kaau......

ako gi try ug unplug ang cord wla jud ma pawong ang comp........

boss I encountered this problem, ang switching circuit ani ni fail. In my case intermittent iyang problema and galisod ko ug pawarranty until gevideohan jd nako una pa sila nitoo.
Anyway etry ug plug with your pc and check ang ups if naa siyay mga LED indicators, tan.awa kung nagsiga ang inverter LED or ang bypass LED. If ang Inverter nag siga most likely mowork imong UPS after power failure but if ang bypass LED naay problema imong ups, mamatay siya kung imong eunplug ang main supply. Check also sa manual niya kung ac input wiring sensitive ba siya, like neutral line and active line (some ups will not work correctly kung nagkabali ang nuetral line ug active line sa main supply, this is very stupid but tinuod as per my experience with china UPS)
Also check ang load level nimo kung naay LED load indicator imong UPS. Importantly try use earth grounding in your set-up, basin ni fail imong ups due to power spike/ power surge during power failure.
