practicality, does not define the kind of job you have. practicality is something where your interests are, and somewhere you feel you love the job you have.

antos lng sa ta. though its not the job that we love, let's be thankful at least nga naa tay stable job and we're being paid well. if you're planning to shift, plan things ahead. dapat naa na kay kalayatan.

para lang nako, what matters most is happy ka sa imong current nga job, if not, no matter how big the pay is, its going to be very stressful for you that you have to drag yourself to be at work, its a poor compensation for yourself in general doing a job that you hate. ang nakapaet pa jud nato, ingon ani ang mahitabo nato because of our dire needs. even if we risks our health physically and mentally, sige na lang para naa lay kita. ako, i've tried this 2 times na. a year ago, ni resign ko from the call center and studied caregiving. it was one of the happiest and stress free time of my life, of course, wala guy trabaho, although going to school for me is also a responsibility, i have to study, do projects and pass the exams. during this time, i lost weight and become healthy pa jud. now, the study is over. i have to go back to working. since call center raman ang pinakadali sudlan, balik na pud kog call center. i was there barely 3 months, wave 1 pa jud. my batchmates are now promoted even after 3 months, i should have been too if i stayed, pero its all worth it jud. i never love the job. i hate screaming and cursing customers on the phone. sa barely 3 months nako, i gained so much weight again because of the sedentary job and lack of exercise during the day. i decided to quit and look for another job. pagka karon, wala pakoy bag o nga job but it feels so good to be able to sleep at night time. 3 weeks pa lang ko ni undang ug work, i lost 15 lbs already and im happy. i dont want to risk my health because of work kay dili ko gusto maparehas sa uban nga gi apil ug sugal ang health para lang sa sueldo, ang ending, inig ka tiguwang, dili gani ma enjoy ang natigum kay kulang pa paras tambal. its your choice ts, success is not being measured by the amount of money that you have in your wallet or at the bank. para nako, its already a success that you are able to do what you really want and being able to do what makes you happy

In our current setting, it's seldom we see people working for a job that they do love and mao jud ilaha linya, ilaha giskwelahan. Magmantinil nalang og trabaho bisan dili jud self-fulfilling para lang naay sweldo, naay kwarta palit pagkaon og uban necessities.

Regarding shifting to another job, dili siya practical kung pamilyado ka. You need to work even if you don't love your job para mabuhi moha pamilya. If single ka, by far do all means na makit-an nimo ang gitawag na self-fulfillment, passion, and love. A job will not be called a job anymore if it is something that you do love doing. In this case, ang kwarta mura rane og reward but not really the motivation why you are doing the job. Swerte jud kaau ka if you can get the job that you do love doing. It's like feeding your soul everyday, giving you life each day unlike trabaho ka sa usa ka job na di nimo ganahan it is like your killing yourself everyday.

Pero sa Pilipinas naa jud tanan discrimination, pgkahahay nalang jud. Less moha chances na dawaton or automatic na di jud ka dawaton if moha edad kay more than 30 years old, then if minyo ka ug naay anak (labi na babaye) grabe lisud2x jud kuha job. Kasagaran gipangita kay single, with experience and age limit pa jud. This is a sad fact. Although sa U.S. an employer or company can be sued if they will discriminate you due to age, race, gender, etc.

Ako? Nahan ko mo work in an office, climb the corporate ladder. However, it is a sad fact bisan pa you are going to spend years working 20 or 40 years, bisan unsaon nimo og kayod di jud na ma-imoha ang kompanya, empleyedo jud ka kutob bisan unsaon og bali-bali sa kalibutan. Knowing there is always politics wherever you work, naay mga libak didto libak dire, napay uban birahon ka paubos or dauton ka para pa pogi points nila, pressure and stress out paka kay demanding moha boss, dika mapromote if di ka duol sa luwag, na magpuyo nalang ko sa balay working homebased. At least, direct sa client, walay sipsip, if I do the job well, I get more work and praises from the client themselves. No hierarchy or chain of command, and less stress or pressure.

@TS: If I were in your shoes, I would rather love doing my work than working for the sake of survival. At the end of the day, it is not how much we have in the bank, how many gadgets we bought during our lifetime, how many places we have traveled, how big is our house, or how many cars we have drove in the past.. at the end of the day, it is how we shape our destiny, how many people have we touched their lives, and how happy we are that we do exist in this world. When all things end, He will not ask you your net worth, what would be ask is what did you do on earth that deserves you enter HIS kingdom.
