actually bro, di mn ka angay ma disappoint..sometimes, its just not for us..usa pd..bsn d pa imong time..the only constant in this world is change.so sakto rana imong gusto para mahappy ka..pero.. sa interview rajd na daugon bro.. di mn sa ingon gijudge ka nila personally kai tungod sa imong background, pero its what you can offer and have that can make them turn their heads around..its the personality, ingon pa nila..
be confindent, believe in yourself nga mao njd ni imong gusto.. find one thing that you really want to do and pursue it..

dili raman ikaw ang sayop ang kurso sa gitrabahoan..nai nurse, nagsecretary, nai engineer nga nag salesr representative..it can happen jd bai.. just don't lose hope..

i remember michael jordan saying how lucky he was to be working as an athlete, enjoying the game he loved most and yet get paid so handsomely...he'd play the same maski way bayad.. so that makes him so very lucky indeed.

kanang doing a job one loves most.. kana unta gyud.

I have the same dilemma about 3 months ago... to cut the story short... been in the callcenter for 5 years... resigned to have a new career path as an engineer...

and I really tried my best as they say (being positive that I will get it, prayed the hardest, etc)...
got to the final interviews (sa akong mga na-applyan), unfortunately, dli gyd ako ang napili even though maka-ingon gyd ko nga i aced the interviews, so unfortunate lng nga wla gyud koi prior experience... so akong masulti mas frustrated akng na feel sa imo ky at least you don't have to feel anang feeling nga maynta ikaw ang mapili-an ky naabot na gyd sa final stage, ang pagpick nlng...

since funds are dwindling, have to resort to be in a call center job again... in my 5 years in the callcenter i could say that i didn't "love" the job, and that's the reason why dli gyd ko happy...

I am not trying to put you down with your goal of switching jobs sir... but with your question "is it practical" i have to say yes, it is. Just want to give you a heads-up of possible outcomes.

Something that i have learned from this is that I have to make the best of what I have. Call center naman sad akong trabaho ron, I am making sure nga I will do my best and making baby steps of loving it in the process, although naa ghapon ang persistent thoughts of switching jobs.

Go for your dreams/goals sir. I have done mine pero dli palang gyd cguro right time for me. Be patient at all times, in my part, it was easier said than done (have to wait a month for the next set of interviews only to know at the end, dli diay ako ang dawaton). What's important is to never put yourself down. If wala gyuy motawag nimo never think you're incompetent or less kay sa akoang part that was what I felt and it was hell (crying every night).

I am not saying I'm done with switching jobs. As am09 said change is the only constant thing in this world. I am just appreciating what I have now until such a time na makuha na nako akong dream job.

i have gone through much the same thing in my search for the one job i would love pero unsaon nga wala may employer nga willing muhatag ug chance. even if ma ace nato ang interview, it is not an assurance that we will be hired.
