Hello,
If a title to a property in the Philippines (house, condo, lot, etc.) is lost, can anyone tell me the proper steps to get another copy of it?

if you have retained copies of your TCT or Tax Declaration, that would be easy. if you don't have one, get your property tax receipts and you go to your local city hall and request for a certified true copy of your tax declaration with your receipts for reference. also execute an affidavit of loss. with your affidavit of loss and tax declaration, you can now go to your provincial Register of Deeds and request for a new TCT. the expenses are very minimal.
