SRDP: GA 5.56mm Carbine (M-4) InHouse production

pinoy-made M4? kanang sa danao oh, kung suportahan lang jd na sa gobyerno, wa jd blema sa armas ang PNP og AFP.

why danao? if there is Shooters, UDMC and Armscor... this entity has more experienced in this field and already made some contract with afp...

the problems with PNP are handgun that will be issued with their police not a carbine nor rifle

the afp dont really have and issue of lack of weapon heck we have lots of surplus, what the afp needs is to return the capability to do inhouse production (does elisco tools ring a bell?)

hopefully soon GA will have howitzer round production lines

huh?? i thought the M4 carbine replaced the M16. You don't see M16s these days (only in da philippines). Obsolete naman daw na.

naa man sad skilled gunsmiths sa danao. sayang lang sila bah nga magpabilin sa underground gunsmithing industry. if they would get a chance to be absorbed into a legitimate company and be given the right training, everybody happy diba?

by the way, the chrome barrel on our pinoy M4 is a total BLING. a blued barrel would be better.

philippines used to manufacture our own m16, kanang elisco nga gamit sa atong mga sundalo made in the philippines na under license sa colt. murag panahon ne cory gehunong ang production. sayang kaayo kay dili na unta magsige ug palit ang pnp/afp ug armas sa ubang nasod.

cortes kanang safariland? murag ang mandaue city police gagamit ug pusil manufactured by cortes. i just dont know kung mau ba ne nga smg ilang gepalit. can this considered a rifle since pistol round man bala?

capt i assume you are also a member of timawa, mblt6 is the head of GA and the one incharge of this project had explained it on the main discussion thread where this came....

beside it is still a prototype check the serial number GA - 000001

gunsmiths in danao could only produce 1 rifle in 3months. you do the math

the reason why they can only make 1 rifle per 3 months is because they lack technical training, tools, machineries and recognition. but in fairness, even with the lack of such, they can still manage to copy guns using crude methods and tools.

if they could only get some decent training and be given a chance to work with the right tools and equipment, i believe their potentials would be put into use.
