Oi naa diay ni na thread here hehe. I was on board that plane, naay loud sound na murag buto sa left wing pero wala man ingon na nikurog. Grabe ani na experience bro oi, mura mag maka recall na ka sa tanan nahitabo nimo in the past, thinking na murag the end is near na sa imo life, but still thank God safe mo and your family and tanang on board ato na plane.

but NEW is still NEW....like all other mechanical engine....NEW is NEW..thats my definition..like in this case..naka hear sila og buto sa engine...aw factory defect diay ni...so dapat erecall tanan klase nga aircraft ani..SAFETY FIRST....dili langta mo ingon nga....aw disgrasya is disgrasya jud...


they say nga new daw ang mga aircraft gigamit sa Airphil..i dont know if it is true...basin refurbished pud.

labeling a turbofan engine as NEW, even if it came right from the factory doesn't mean it is INDESTRUCTIBLE, UNFAILING and PERFECT. a NEW aircraft, likewise, does not mean it is "UN-CRASH-ABLE", "NON-MALFUNCTIONING" and UNBREAKABLE.

there are LOTS and LOTS of factors that contribute to situations where the Fit hits the SHan while on flight. having new or old engines or aircraft is but a very small portion of those factors.

some of airphil's A320's are refurbished but they have pending orders due to arrive in 2013 if i'm not mistaken. being refurbished does not mean it's unsafe as for the reason that refurbishing an aircraft is to restore its airworthiness in the first place. there are a lot of old aircraft flying around with major airlines that are still very safe to fly on.

Sounds like one of the jet engine's fan blades came lose.

Disasters do happen, especially when we least expect them. Often do I travel, but I do admit,that still the fear does not go away. What eases it is that, as much as we value our lives, airlines value their airbuses too.. They too do their best to fly, not only us, but also their fragile airbuses, safely to our destinations because these tiny metal birds we see in the sky are worth hundreds of millions.. And losing it with a single negligence wouldn't be quite a good way to go.

may gani wala me kahibalo aning balitaa dili unta air phil among masakyan from davao to cebu last week lang... barato raman gud compare sa cebu pac ug phil airlines.....

btw ngano wala naman lang milahos ang plane nga 25-30 mins naman kaha mo naglupad nga 45 mins ra man ang flight from cebu to dvao...
