they say nga new daw ang mga aircraft gigamit sa Airphil..i dont know if it is true...basin refurbished pud.

When you said, "...dili diay ni new aircraft ila gamit? tsk tsk...", it implies that every plane has to be new to be effective.

Can you imagine the costs if all aircraft have to be new?

You get what you pay for. Kung ganahan mo ug new nga mga aiplanes, then dili ma barato ang mga plane fares and there will be no promo fares....

Oi naa diay ni na thread here hehe. I was on board that plane, naay loud sound na murag buto sa left wing pero wala man ingon na nikurog. Padayon lang mi but after that naa na jud sound na mura gani ug niungot, I thought gani ang landing tire to dili musira or mura sya ug sa car nichange gear ka pero wala nisulod kay wala natamakan pag.ayo ang clutch. Good thing ang pilot naka decide na mubalik, we were like 25-30mins airborne already. Kuyawan kaayo ko coz padung mi reunion, ako with my 2 sisters and our respective families, 3 families tanan! Pabalik sa Mactan nagkagrabe ang sound mura naa ga-gabas sa left wing. Grabe pag-ampo sa mga tawo oi. Paglingi nako sa ako tapad, ako 2 5yr-old sons innocent kaayo gadula-dula ra jud tawon. Dugay kaayo niLand, it took forever, daghan na kaayo scenario sa ako utok tungod lagi aning seconds from disaster sa TV! hahay. But thank GOD all's well gibalhin mi ug laing plane, we made sure it was a different plane kay amo gitiman.an ang body number hehe. Although OK na ang flight namo paDAVAO, traumatic jud na experience, pabalik here CEBU gamay left or right sa plane makulbaan na ko.

Para nako mas prefer ko by the sea [ship vessel] but tinood gyud accidents do happen. Maayo na lang kay safe sila nag land, Thanks God.

Similar like this happen to my wife when they went Singapore sometime 8 years ago with PAL. They were already beyond halfway when the pilot decided to return to Manila. They were then transferred to another plane and took off the same day.

Actually once airborne, even one engine nlang magfunction still it can reach its destination. Basta wala lang explosion or something sunog safe ra na.
