You are still not getting the drift . Nobody cares about PLANKING because other than its ANNOYING , its FATAL but , daghan gihapon gagmayng utok ga cge ug patronize / practice ani .
But, (here comes the big word) it's perfectly legal. The last time I checked, smoking is deadlier than planking, and I as an asthmatic find it annoying. But wait, it's legal right?

Do you know how many casualties are now in the books courtesy of PLANKING ?
    Uhhhhh....So far?

    1

Australia man plunges to 'planking' death - World news - Asia-Pacific - msnbc.com

Compare that to the number of people who die from smoking, yet you don't see legislation banning it (which btw, would also be a stupid nanny-state law).

Do you know naay daghang oplok sa University of San Carlos ga cge ug PLANKING PLANKING and dili mo tagam ? Tell me what is so LEGAL SELF EXPRESSION about it .
So? Is it something the government should really meddle with? Or is it an issue perhaps the school should best look into?

I can pick my nose for all I care in class and offend people, or perhaps take a dump in the school yard and somehow convince thousands of others to do it, yet is it really the national government's place to intervene and pass legislation to ban both activities?

Dont put the TAXPAYERS MONEY as a leverage lage . How did you know na ang ANTI PLAN KING LAW ra ang gi pass or gi draft ? Although yes mao ra na ang gi news because its not only sensational but albeit funny to some and here you are trying to say that lawmakers are wasting TAXPAYERS MONEY .
I'm referring to this specific law, this specific congressman wasting taxpayers money for this specific law. Not once did I refer to the entire House of Representatives or all of the laws they've mandated.

bai .. passing a law needs a BASIS , committees composed of people na dili lang kutob sa forums ang knowledge attends this , the team of the reprsentative themselves votes on this and much more . Wala na siya gi himo ug overnight lang kay trip niya .
Of course all laws have a basis. It's a prerequisite. However, it's what these laws are based on that's the problem. Are they facts or are they biases? And believe me, there are some laws and rules that are ridiculous in this country.

And who are you to say that it's not our place to question and criticize? I've called my senator and congressman in the States a handful of times, yet here I'm supposed to be a good boy and not even express indignation, even when I'm paying my taxes as a law-abiding citizen?

I still doubt if you read the replies . basaha ug usab kaw .
Again, a matter of opinion. Let's agree to disagree.

That is present no matter what sector you belong to . Thats why I said ON A BRIGHTER SIDE . Did you even ponder on the BIGGER PICTURE and the BRIGHTER SIDE ?
Ponder on what? Because if this bill has any pros, the cons outnumber them.

If you read in between the lines and I do hope I wont keep repeating myself over and over again , have the " constituents " know first the laws passed by the representatives otherwise , KAMO NA LANG LAGE PAG SILA . It seems that KAMO has far more KNOWLEDGE running the country through making LAWS than SILA .
Again, I'm referring to this specific bill. I don't know why you keep saying we're question the entire House's capabilities to legislate, when it's this specific bill that's the issue. And yes, we already know what the bill is about, and we're in a good enough position to question it.

Too bad , we cant really excercise the power of the FREEDOM of SPEECH because there is none .
As someone who lived through Martial Law, that statement is ridiculous.

ngano balaoran pa man gyud ning butanga?

All over the world ? Are you sure of that ? Again , tell me what is so useless about it .

But, (here comes the big word) it's perfectly legal. The last time I checked, smoking is deadlier than planking, and I as an asthmatic find it annoying. But wait, it's legal right?
You are now playing the game . Just like how marijuana is being outlawed and cigarette is legalized yet both are dangerous to our healths . On a different note , its not the issue of which is which but the fact remains , it should be stopped . Do you find people PLANKING very amusing and enjoyable because its just a game of expression ?

Of course isa ra man gi post nimo .

Compare that to the number of people who die from smoking, yet you don't see legislation banning it (which btw, would also be a stupid nanny-state law).
Again , dont use it as a leverage because it is irrelevant . And by the way , do you really think youd be able to witness BANNING the CIGARETTE SMOKING in this lifetime ? Is that what you are trying to say here ? passing a LAW to BAN CIGARETTE SMOKING is far more worthy of the every penny you are giving back to the government out of taxes that pays these representatives to push pencils ? I do hope its not .

So? Is it something the government should really meddle with? Or is it an issue perhaps the school should best look into?
Like I said , look at the bigger picture . Dont confine yourself , that was a statement where I can vouch personally as witnessed yet just because it happened inside a school doesnt mean its not happening outside either .

I can pick my nose for all I care in class and offend people, or perhaps take a dump in the school yard and somehow convince thousands of others to do it, yet is it really the national government's place to intervene and pass legislation to ban both activities?
Literally ... if thats how you express yourself then so be it . But ethically , you know its wrong and you would not do it maski kabalo ka na walay balaod ga outlaw ana . Now that is COMMONSENSE .

Seriously , if its happening ... why not ? If you can do it inside the school , there is no reason you wont do it outside the school . Did you know that rules and regulations of any private establishment is still covered under the roof of the republic acts ? Samot na ug sa public pa .

I'm referring to this specific law, this specific congressman wasting taxpayers money for this specific law. Not once did I refer to the entire House of Representatives or all of the laws they've mandated.
Because didnt you just say that as representatives , they are subject to PUBLICLY CRITICISIZED , tabla ra ug gi sulti na they are being paid by the taxpayers to be SCRUTINIZED . Now tell me lage how did this specific lawmaker made a specific law and wasted the people taxes ?

Of course all laws have a basis. It's a prerequisite. However, it's what these laws are based on that's the problem. Are they facts or are they biases? And believe me, there are some laws and rules that are ridiculous in this country.
That is true but as far as I am concerned , basing from the replies of the people who subscribed here ... isnt it obvious that they are only talking about the PLANKING during the RALLY ? kana siya na ideal is bound for scrutiny jud na because its purely bias specially if ikaw na sakop sa mga tao na aktibista yet , as what I have also explained , that only triggered mao na create ang gi pass na law . The LAW is not only applicable during the RALLIES but all the time maski asa pa ka except in private lang cguro like in the comfort of your bedroom .

And who are you to say that it's not our place to question and criticize? I've called my senator and congressman in the States a handful of times, yet here I'm supposed to be a good boy and not even express indignation, even when I'm paying my taxes as a law-abiding citizen?
Since when did I say that you just need to shut your mouth and go to a corner and cry ? On behalf of what you are , good for you ! Just dont forget that you can only speak in behalf of yourself and if you think that you are mature enough by saying this and saying that .. again good for you unless you are having hard time figuring out the statements of some of the people here from yours then there is a problem .

Again, a matter of opinion. Let's agree to disagree.
Yes , its just a matter of opinion and that establishes that there is no right nor wrong . Just plain responsible and irresponsible point of views . This time , we will be talking about CHARACTER and not OPINIONS alone . Remember what I said about Filipinos most of the time ? I really hate to say it but sometimes , we have to face the sad reality .

Ponder on what? Because if this bill has any pros, the cons outnumber them.
Lets just say naay 1 ka PRO sa kani na balaod . Enlighten me sa mga CONS daw . Maski isa lang kabuok pod aron tabla .

Again, I'm referring to this specific bill. I don't know why you keep saying we're question the entire House's capabilities to legislate, when it's this specific bill that's the issue. And yes, we already know what the bill is about, and we're in a good enough position to question it.
Because you directed your position earlier the RIGHT to QUESTION . That is directed to all of them . Now in the case of the specific person and the specific law , that is for you to digest because it seems you knew him too well . Just never use the pronoun WE because there is only you .

As someone who lived through Martial Law, that statement is ridiculous.
Do not speak of words like tan-aw nimo ikaw ra ang naka hibalo ana . It is not ridiculous because its a FACT and you cant do nothing about it . Its about being RESPONSIBLE . Now tell , is it right and just for people to call the representative BOGO , OPLOK etc ? Kung bogo ug oplok pa na siya because of the law he is trying to pass , wala unta na siya sa lowerhouse of representatives to begin with . Pero as what you have said , you , I and we have all the rights to SCRUTINIZED right because we voted for them . Sakto ba ?

    @MANIN**** ...

Tuod ang PLANKING is DAOTAN and it never was a GAME , it was thought of as a game maybe by people who are IDIOTS . Unsa na lang kaha tan-aw sa mga kabataan if mag PLANKING pod sila because they were told na its just a GAME and a form of SELF EXPRESSION ? You know what is next . '

regarding of the rest sa mga examples nimo , people use COMMONSENSE on that . Sa PLANKING , since when gi gamit ang commonsense ?

    @KIYBORDWARYUR ...

Ang asenso wala sa balaod o sa gobyerno , naa nato tagsa tagsa . Kung mao na ang pang lantaw nimo aw wala gyud tay asenso ani . Kinahanglan ana sentido komon , dili palusot .
