posibly put tingali na bai Metz. hehehe.. ang imo nlang reason why ibutang nimo sa bank is that naay PDIC insurance compared sa balay nimo ibutang mas risky kay basin masunog or tulison mo.

mahimo nlang nga locker room ang bank para sa imong kwarta then ikaw gabayad sa service fee. hehehe paita pud no?

Hehehe! samot kung wala nay interest ang bank, what if cge lag printa pud ug money, paksit jud imu kwarta sa banko kay mugamay jud value long term(due to inflation, prices of commodities grew up through time, and the buying power of money will reduce over time.)

i dont think its limited.. banks gani ka dli jud ka mo adopt anang limited only.. kay kasagaran sa mga banks mag cge man gani na pangita og clients .. unya ma limited slots na noun.... mas dako pa ang bank of makati ani..

guys, mutual funds and Certificate of Deposits are different basket, stop comparing both.
nagpahibaw ra ang TS sa available product na ma avail.

mutual funds - invest in "either or combination" of bonds, cd's, stocks, t-bills.
CD's - the bank lend your money with minimal interest( gipa utang nimo imong kwarta na gamay ra ug kita)

It really depends on how much each persons accepts his/her own risk.
like my parents and siblings, they are comfortable with banks.

about comparing chinabank with bank of makati is like comparing a mansion to a nipa hut.
would you lend your money to lucio tan or henry sy for 5% interest
or would you lend your money to your neighbor for 15% interest
it depends kung kinsa imo gipa utang. if kinsa riskier. i hope you get the point

about being limited, yes bank do limit some high yielding CD's.

rcbc launch their LTNCD(long term negotiable certificate of deposit) last year with 8% interest.
unfortunately i wasnt able to avail it. kay wa na sila nag offer pag hibaw nako

so thanks TS sa heads up, i hope post gihapon mo sa mga opportunity.
