^^^yah well said...rip the muslims off from their claim of mindanao then call them our brothers?
    well that's really convenient.
and by the way, this is more of a discussion about what, how or why Mindanao is excluded or included in the Paris treaty based on the fingerprints of history.

this ain't to spark hate and conflict but a healthy discussion
neither also you can sound like you're gonna sing or sounding so poetic

    I suggest you dig deeper

grabi gyud kaayo looking at those old images mura mang limbawt imo mga balahibo and mura mu-tulu imo mga luha.
Esp that old Capitol-Jones avenue photo above. Imagine sa ka traffic ug polluted na karon plus nag hu-ot ang mga buildings ug shanties--ironies of both progress and poverty side by side.
You can't help nalang ang think kanindot sa una ui ang Cebu mura ug one veery big park or plaza

just refer to the Treaty of Paris. aside from its stipulated agreements carefully refer to its chronological details.
And try to cross reference them with any articles about the sovereignty of Spain over the Phils preceding the said treaty
Also look up the sultanates or any muslim sovereignty in the Philippines esp Mindanao with the same chronological rhythm.

basta bottomline para nako is, katong gi turn over sa spain syempre is katong na govern nila
and during that time they weren't able to establish even a strong foothold in mindanao
    so you figure that out.

It so happen lang Mindanao is a part of the Philippine Archipelago
Spain turned over the Philippines as the territory under their sovereign governance to the US
but the fact of Mindanao being part of the archipelago BUT not under their sovereign rule was undermined

So most probably there are loopholes or grey areas sa pact

G.I.s standing on the left side of the picture with the barrel of an M7 Priest Self Propelled Artillery just sticking out. On the background is clearly the Cebu Provincial Capitol with black soot near the roof of the left-side wing probably caused by a small fire during the war.
