BAKING SODA IS NOT a good idea.

i can with certainty say that it really damage the teeth. the reason that you get whiter teeth of it, is because it erodes away the discolored enamel, and thereby makes the teeth weaker.it goes without sayings that when you get sores on the gums, so it is not good. the same apllies to salt and other ways to grin the tetth. you might as well sit down and rub your teeth with sandpaper.

the reason we have enamel is that we shouldn´t have holes, since the enamel is stronger than the tooth. if you grind or etch away the enamel you get holes faster. It is not necessarily the first or second time you use it, but you weaken your teeth guaranteed.

it is best to go to the dentist and have it done there. it is also very important to check the condition of your teeth before you do it so that it does not worsen any holes or anything.
