The parable in the gospel tells the story of a debt worth ten thousand talents.

10,000 talents is worth about 150,000 year's wages.

Here's the calculation:

1 talent = 60 minas
1 mina = 3 month's wages
1 talent = 60 x (3 months' wages) = 180 months' wages
1 talent = 180 months' wages / 12 months in a year = 15 years' wages
1 talent = 15 years' wages

10,000 talents = 150,000 years' wages.

So if a yearly wage is $15,000 (about 40hrs/week at CA min wage ($8/hr)
150,000 year's wages = 2,250,000,000
(Two Billion, Two Hundred Fifty Million dollars US)

mao na ang metaphor sa act of forgiving, seventy times seven times.....

I've been hurt, humiliated and some others na sakit jd kau...but 'cmon it's not all the time nga Hatred jd pirme naa sa atong utok, try to think when you are not angry...than to decide when you are angry, lau ra kau og deperenxa.

Though it's hard to do, but we know what good it brings when we do it, that is if we believe that there peace in forgiveness.

WE should think also of the consequences when we do Revenge... for a moment it brings happiness but...ikaw if para nimu that justice has been served...well, it would not assure you that you will be happy for the rest of your life.
