It comes not as coincidence that today, as the world remembers the sad events of 9/11, the events that changed our world, the Christian reading today is taken from the Gospel of Matthew....and it is about FORGIVENESS.
The Gospel writer used hyperbole to emphasize his message...to forgive seventy times seven! Oh gosh, when it is even so painful to forgive even once.
Nothing happens by coincidence, everything happens for a reason. And today, I see a discernment, a message of forgiving. Personally, I find it so hard, and almost impossible to forgive.
The world needs to forgive, how ironic, but that is the message I discern today, which I am sharing in this thread. Ironic, because the heart, honestly cries for Vengeance.. for so called Justice.. to even things out.
To the one who hurt me the most, you know you are the one I truly loved and valued in my life. I will learn to forgive, but it will be a very painful and long process. I also ask forgiveness for the hurts I've caused you.
Life is vanity, you enjoy it while you can.
But love and forgiveness, are the two things that are immortal.
The journey begins today.
So long....
