    kung dili pa mo gusto mo palit og bible. Check out BibleGateway.com: A searchable online Bible in over 100 versions and 50 languages.. Daghan kaayo mga versions and translations diri. English, Arabic, King James, New King James, New Living Translation, New American Standard Bible, etc. etc. 66 books, from Genesis to Revelation. 39 books in the old, 27 in the new testament,. Walay sobra, walay kulang. Para nako, pinaka sayon sabton ang New Living Translation or New American Standard Bible.

    Read on. Daghan kaayo mo ma kuha nga mga pag tulunan sa Bible. Tinood man, daghan kaayo nag misinterpret sa bible, nag himo og ilahang relihiyon, nag himo pa gani og ilahang kaugalingon nga bibliya. Pero do not let it discourage you from discovering the truth and treasure that the Bible offers.

    Usbon ka pag sulti kini. Dili relihiyon ang maka luwas sa tawo kung dili relasyon sa Ginoo pinaagi ni Kristo. Establish a relationship with God. Get to know Him more through His Word. Dili jud mo ma sipyat ani.

    @ Everyone....

    I have a very serious QUESTION to myself guyz,,,can you please help ME out with this one., if it is not too much to ask from you.

    Please answer this question question solely based on your own religion's perspective, I won't mind if you are a Protestant, Born Again Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, R. Catholic or any religion that believes in an AFTERLIFE.

    My religion is Roman Catholic but I promise I won't argue with your answers.

    MY QUESTION:

    Aside from dying, what is the single MOST important thing that I MUST do in order for me not to suffer in the AFTERLIFE

    (I'm not sure if this is off topic or not but I consider this a VERY serious question.....I'm not obliging anyone to answer but please do respect this one......Many thanks in advance)

    The bible is teaching us what to do in our journey here on earth. In John 14:6, Jesus said; " I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, no one comes to the Father except through me." Take heed to God's words, and you can never go wrong.

    MY QUESTION:

    @Koral LOVE?? oh no... it's LOVE! Love God and thy brothers
    We are judged by love.
    GOd is LOVE

    Mk. 12:28-34
    There is no commandment greater than these

    “In the evening of life, we will be judged on love alone.”

    Love is the soul's inclination, strength, and power in making its way to God, for love unites it with God. The more degrees of love it has, the more deeply it enters into God and centers itself in him. We can say that there are as many centers in God possible to the soul, each one deeper than the other, as there are degrees of love of God possible to it...

    ~St. John of the cross

    "Love comprises all vocations."
    ~St. Therese, Doctor of Church (Divina Amoris)

    "You do not have enough trust. You have too much fear before the good God. I can assure you that He is grieved over this. You should not fear Purgatory because of the suffering there, but should instead ask that you not deserve to go there in order to please God, Who so reluctantly imposes this punishment. As soon as you try to please Him in everything and have an unshakable trust He purifies you every moment in His love and He lets no sin remain. And then you can be sure that you will not have to go to Purgatory."

    When she found out that her novices talked occasionally that they would probably have to expect to be in Purgatory, she corrected them saying: "Oh! How you grieve me! You do a great injury to God in believing you're going to Purgatory. When we love, we can't go there."

    God is Father rather than Judge.

    Once St. Therese had a confrontation regarding this topic with Sr. Marie Febronia, who not only was sixty-seven years old but also was sub-prioress. She had heard that St. Therese encouraged the novices to believe that they could go straight to heaven. She did not like this as she considered this kind of confidence presumptuous, and thus she reproached St Therese. St Therese tried lovingly and calmly to explain to Sr. Febronia her point of view but with no success as Sr. Febronia clung to belief. For St. Therese God was more Father than Judge, and she took the liberty of finally responding, "My sister, if you look for the justice of God you will get it. The soul will receive from God exactly what she desires."

    It really depends on how we look at God. For me He is God of Love and Mercy. Just Do what He wills, Love others as what He Commanded us. Isn't He the King of Hearts? As what the good Saint Therese told us... love and act in silence, also need not be a GREAT deed but little things with great LOVE.

    If they hurt you still, Love them anyway remember the words of our Mother Teresa..."It was never between you and them anyway, it's between YOU and GOD"

    God is love; His mercy brightens
    All the path in which we rove;
    Bliss He wakes, and woe He lightens:
    God is wisdom, God is love.

    Chance and change are busy ever;
    Man decays and ages move;
    But His mercy waneth never:
    God is wisdom, God is love.

    E’en the hour that darkest seemeth
    Will His changeless goodness prove;
    From the mist His brightness streameth:
    God is wisdom, God is love.

    He with earthly cares entwineth
    Hope and comfort from above;
    Everywhere His glory shineth:
    God is wisdom, God is love.

    Wrong. Dunay kulang.

    Kana tanang mga version nga imong ginganlan gikan na sa version nga Latin Vulgate nga gi-compile ni Jerome sa tuig A.D. 382. Ang original nga Latin Vulgate dunay 1st and 2nd Maccabees.

    Sa tuig A.D. 1820 (1438 years human ma-compile ang bible), gitanggal sa mga protestante kanang 1st and 2nd Maccabees. Pero before anang tuiga, ang ilang bible dunay 1st and 2nd Maccabees. Therefore, ilang gikulangan ang bible. Ilang gitanggal ang mga libro nga wala mahiuyon sa ilang pagtoo. Mao na nga 66 books ra ang imong bibliya, @dcuenco. Kulang na, dili kumpleto.

    Gusto pa gani nilang ipatanggal ang Epistle of James pero wala sila molampos. Nganong ila man ipatanggal ang Epistle of James ?

    Kay ang ilang gitudlo, people are saved by faith alone. If you have faith in Jesus, you are 100% saved. The moment you've established relationship with him, no amount of works can undo your salvation. Kuyaw kaayo ng doctrinaha. Kay mura na og quick money scheme. Just have faith in HIM, malangit na ka. Bisan pa og dautan ang imong binuhatan. But the message from the Epistle of James is very clear: faith without deeds is useless. Matud pa niya, ang demonyo nagtuo pud sa Dios. Buot ba ipasabot naluwas na siya?
    James 2:14-26

    What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? ...faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

    You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

    You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?...As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
    See? Kinsang bible ang kulang? Kadtong original o kadtong kinopya?

    P.S. OK ra man pud namo nga nangopya mo sa among bible unya inyo dayong gisalindut ang tag-iya human og pangopya. Basta ayaw lang pud mi ninyo but-i nga ang original among gamiton. Kay mas reliable gyud ang original.

    @dcuenca:

    Wa man gyud kaha kay salig sa catholic church. Unya ang catholic church ra ba ang nag-decide nga 27 books (walay kapin/walay kulang) ang i-apil sa new testament.

    Giunsa man nimo pagkasiguro nga 27 books lang gyud ang new testament, dili 26 o 28 books? Naa bay verse sa bible nga imong mabasa nga 27 books lang gyud ang ibutang sa new testament?

    Tubaga kuno palihug.
