being competitive will bring out the crab in all of us. we want to defeat our competition as much as possible. Kinsa may gusto nga mapildi dba?! as long as di lang ta manikas, di mang daot, fair game lang..ok ra kaayo. I always look up to the people who has done great things. I try to learn from them. di ko manamak og laing tao but if magcompete na aw, it's everybody's ball game na dayon (labi na sa work).

coz when we are in their country we feel they dominate us and we feel who is weaker. We tend to act nice, kind and meek, defense mechanism ba, so they will not harm us and so they will not be challenged.
pinoys will adapt in that new environment so they tend to behave. whereas kung naa sa atong territory they will act stubborn etc.

actually its not a filipino crab mentality.
spanish crab mentality man ni namana lang nato.

    manotice nimo,
kung kinsa tong mga naay spanish sounding family names
mao nay kasagaran naay crab mentality.

wala ana ang atong mga muslim brothers,
wala sad anan ang mga chinese,
wala sad anan ang mga pure pinoy.
naa man gani tay bayanihan culture sa karaang panahon.

its the way they were brought up.
kasagaran man gud mga spanish families,
very strict and very critical with their children
this results into a negative attitude like crab mentality.
they grow up insecure , so to compensate that they pull other people down.

A lot of Filipinos are successful in other countries. More than they ever would have if they stayed here.

I would like to think of it this way: If you are a crab with crabs, you will find it difficult to go up as many will be pulling you down when you're getting there. BUT, if you are a crab, alone alone with those who are NOT crabs, then you could very well zoom up without difficulty. What do you think?

crab or no crab it all depends on your attitude.

if you are a reactive person, meaning you need to be stimulated to react then you do not want to be with crabs.

but, if you are a proactive person, then crabs doesnt matter to you.
because you will never be affected by outside stimulus.
    you are your own master.

im a reactive person who is now shifting into a proactive person.
so crabs can still affect me but im aware about it now.

you just need to ignore these crabs.
