Are you a crab? no im a pawikan

    SLOWLY BUT SURELY
Unfortunately, pawikans are endangered! How I wish though that they were not so then after 40 years we would have been better off. Yet there are more crabs than pawikans.... add the crocodiles too!

I think I know whom you are referring too. these are more like obstructionists than what they claim they are. and yes I have seen them doing the same thing to whoever sits as president and to our 'imperial friend' the US. I know many of them criticizing schoolmates before as being bourgeois, yet now are behaving like one. Some guys even turned from crabs to crocs, bigtime.

for your son's sakes, if dili nimo pa-pari-on or politiko-hon, pa-eskwelaha'g tarong, then pa-largaha gawas for a better pay... (these are the three options for a better life....IF YOU ASK ME....my opinion lang....)

being nationalistic does not feed your family these days...especially sa mode of government...

being practical is not being a crab.....

I appreciate your opinion, but dili jud nuon nako pa.pari-on ako anak. I have issues with the Catholic Church, but that's another story. As to being a politician? Heck NO. Ang pag.larga sa gawas, I leave that up to him. He's only three so I have more than enough time to mold him sa 'tuwid na daan' to borrow a politician's line.

I will strive to make him grow up practical, but NEVER a CRAB.

Come to think of it, your observations seem to manifest some things that are wrong with our society...

Ang pari, well, there's the controversy regarding one who is accused of a heinous crime and several higher ranking ones who gained undue favors from a former president thru a government corporation. And these are people who have very very strong influences over the populace. Something indeed is not right here.

Ang politician? Aw, murag lisod mangita ug sample nga dili masaway. Most aren't exactly role models I could pick for my growing son. And the bickering among rivals!? Lupig pa jud ako bata ug kanang bata nga nasuya niya. Maayo nalang kay mabadlong nako ako anak ug mupatu.o sad. The politicians? ambot nalang...

Still, I would venture to say that NOT being a Crab is almost being Nationalistic.
