My vote goes to Bong Bong once he runs for Presidency. He is the hope of our nation! I don't care if his father was a dictator. But I have a strong feeling he'll consider doing these things I'm saying here. That includes ordering the amendment of the 1987 Constitution.

yup it was done by purpose.

On September 13, 1972, Ninoy denounced exposed the military plan called "Oplan Sagittarius" for the purpose of putting NCR under military control. He didn't risk his live. what he did was just to stage a violent ambush of defense minister's car and then declare martial law. right after that Ninoy was detained on September 23, 1972.

And Ninoy, who was to be sentenced to death, was not killed by Marcos. Because they were close friends. But I don't think the communist thing was set up by Marcos, unless you can give me a link which says so.

NO.The ambush was done by Marcos military itself though there was no intention to kill Enrile. it was staged but the communist party wasn't involved. On September 26 Marcos accused Aquino of meeting with cpp-Npa leader JoMa Sison and plotting to overthrow the government. Marcos didnt connive with the communist party but it was Ninoy accused of doing so.

I don't have a link for this but I saw this in a documentary authored by UP history professor.
