Lord Raglan's the hero pattern: (study of folklore) The 22 point system
Lord' Raglan's Hero Pattern
1. Hero's mother is a royal virgin;
2. His father is a king, and
3. Often a near relative of his mother, but
4. The circumstances of his conception are unusual, and
5. He is also reputed to be the son of a god.
6. At birth an attempt is made, usually by his father or his maternal grand father to kill him, but
7. he is spirited away, and
8. Reared by foster -parents in a far country.
9. We are told nothing of his childhood, but
10. On reaching manhood he returns or goes to his future Kingdom.
11. After a victory over the king and/or a giant, dragon, or wild beast,
12. He marries a princess, often the daughter of his predecessor and
13. And becomes king.
14. For a time he reigns uneventfully and
15. Prescribes laws, but
16. Later he loses favor with the gods and/or his subjects, and
17. Is driven from the throne and city, after which
18. He meets with a mysterious death,
19. Often at the top of a hill,
20. His children, if any do not succeed him.
21. His body is not buried, but nevertheless
22. He has one or more holy sepulchres.

more mythical god stories so similar to Jesus
1.Horus - Sun God of Egypt, born on December 25th of the virgin Isis-Meri.
Had 12 disciples he traveled about with, performing miracles such as healing the sick and walking on water.
After being betrayed by Typhon, Horus was crucified, buried for 3 days, and resurrected

was resurrected.

3. Krishna, of India, born of the virgin Devaki with a star in the east signaling his coming,
performed miracles with his disciples, and upon his death was resurrected
Stories of Lord Krishna
4.One of my favorites is the Story of Dionysus
Dionysus of Greece, born of a virgin on December 25th, was a traveling teacher who performed miracles
such as turning water into wine
STORIES OF DIONYSUS 3 : Greek mythology
There is no evidence that Dionysus was born on December 25th. OTHER similarities, however, are rather disturbing.
1) Both had a mortal mother and a god father (Dionysus was NOT born of a virgin, however. His father was Zeus!
Since when did Zeus ever NOT have *** with a virgin?)
2) Both fathers were the King of Kings, or the highest in heaven
3) Dionysus was known as the god of salvation. He went to hell and brought his mother up from Hades.
4) Both died and were resurrected (In some myths, Dionysus even died and was re-born TWICE)
5) Both had to flee and hide after their birth (Jesus from Herod, Dionysys from Hera)
6) Both had ties with women. Jesus was known to bring equality to women and had many women followers while Dionysus'
followers were all women and he was known as a god for woman sexuality
7) Both returned to their birth towns after they had grown, and both were denied. People said to them, oh I remember
you when you were little, you think you're a god now? (In Jesus' case, God's son)
Jesus' first miracle was to turn water to wine, a trick well known of Dionysus. During festivals,
he would fill 3 barrels with wine (where Jesus turned three barrels of water into wine)
9) When denied, mortals would suffer both their wraths (Jesus' is explained in revelations,
where as Dionysus' wrath was more immediate in his hometown
10) Both were seated "at the right hand of the father".
As for the other gods, their is no evidence of the date December being important,
but the "dying god complex" is a common reoccurring theme through out all religions.
Jesus was neither the first nor the last to die and be reborn, or to die as a form of salvation.
5. Mithra, of Persia, born of a virgin on December 25th, he had 12 disciples and performed miracles,
and upon his death was buried for 3 days and thus

Christianity Is The Plagiarized Version Of Mithraism - revkenny's Blog - Blogster
This is not all that is borrowed by the Bible. Many of his miracles are miracles seen in other religions pre-dating Christ.
Buddhist Bodhisattva's are popular characters to borrow from.
Christians cannot deny these claims. They were so troubled by them once upon a time that the Catholic church
decreed that all other gods and miracles that Christianity appeared to rip off were in fact an elaborate
ruse by the devil to confuse believers. That's quite a stretch isn't it? They decided that the devil made
sure that all of these things happened before the coming of Christ, just to make them look bad.
Now, that answer sounds too lame to believe, but when Christianity ruled the western world, few dared to contest it.

I doubt if Jesus really existed. If he did, he existed as a mortal.
There were no accounts in history that says Jesus has existed.
Plus, there were parallels of Jesus to the Pagan God, Horus. Since Christianity was set up by Constantine, who was a Pagan, Jesus COULD BE or CERTAINLY BE a by product of the Pagan God, Horus.
