i am the one that started this thread. i made this para unta proud ta mga cebuanos about sa naabot ni mac mac. im sure nga nasuko ang taga ateneo about sa move sa bata ug sa iya family. pero daghan kaayo tag wala nahibaw an. this thread is not about the tatay, or the tallos. this is about a cebuano nga naka abot sa manila because of his talent. let us just be happy kung asa cya. if we keep on throwing bad words or insults, dile ra si mac mac inyo gi pull down, maski kita nga cebuanos. dapat happy ta, since si slaughter naa na sab didto and hes doing great sa ateneo. hopefully ma stop na ni. thanks

Let me ask then. Do you think the act of going AWOL should be tolerated just because someone is Cebuano?

I mentioned in the other thread I have two messengers, if both go AWOL both for personal reasons. Both do not ask permission. One is from Bohol, one is from Cebu. Musuko ko sa usa pero sa usa dili? Ok ra muAWOL taga Cebu kay taga-Cebu man sad ko?

I don't subscribe to that regionalism going beyond values approach..... BUT If you think that way then shouldn't a fellow Cebuano, like Jack Huang deserve some sort of loyalty/"extra respect", from the Cebuano Tallos because of the Cebuano connection? You can't have "Cebuano man ta bai" work one way and expect it not to work the other way.

Do you think going the going AWOL of a Cebuano athlete reflects well on the Cebuano athletic community? In the long run basin di na lang mukuha ug players sa Cebu ang bigger schools because they have been "burned by a Cebuano".

If we, as Cebuanos choose to bask in MacMac's success we have to be prepared to participate in the ignominy of the other deeds.

I hope Macmac does well soon so that people will forget this chapter in his life. Kobe was charged with a very serious offense but his success after drowned out the incident. Maybe Macmac will average 8-8-8 in his rookie year and people will forget as well.

its more of stained/tarnished ang reputation ni macmac sa basketball community here in manila because of what he did... ADMU gave him what he deserves but sadly nag AWOL sya leaving ADMU clueless.. People moved mountains to get him but ni THANK YOU and GOOD BYE wala man lang sya nasabi...

Basketball in the Philippines is a small community... remember what happened to BJ Manalo, he's my friend.. He's a good person..very religious.. but he lost his credibility as a basketball player...

If Macmac wants to be a role model to other cebuanos, i guess it's too late the hero...

Junmar Fajardo nalang or si Pingoy of FEU Jrs... baka sila ang maka bawi sa ginawa ni macmac..

Good luck nalang sa kanya lalo na may upcoming new coaching system ang DLSU...

gi pirate mani xa sa la salle.. he's a product of ADMU jud.. Ateneo jud maoy gaba.id ani niya.. pero i heard rumors nga gitanyagan ug kwarta and house and lot.. ambot if tinood ba.. mao lng akong nadunggan..

kuyaw jd to nga player si BJ oi.. college pa lng pero pued na paduwaon ug PBA.. murag batch to sila nilang VILLANUEVA, YEO, GONZALES, bsta kuyaw jud to ilang batch sauna...

BJ Manalo was a former blue eaglet.. Ateneo HS standout... Admu wanted him to play for the Seniors(eagles) but he opted to play for LaSalle (of all the schools) after his college years w/ DLSU and some injuries, he didnt finished the 5 plying years w/ DLSU.. He enrolled at ADMU for his masteral degree and wanted to play w/ the eagles.. dun na nagka leche leche ang basketball career nya.. many ADMU people are not happy w/ his decision.. but mas marami ang galit sa kanya sa LaSalle.... kawawang BJ... nasayang ang career..

Yes, Can someone please confirm kung ni-sugod na ang enrolment sa DLSU para sa 2nd sem, ug kung human na enroll si Macmac.

Someone told me the first tri-mester finals were last week or this week. So I suppose pwede na mu-enrol.

The Tallos claim they are in, but they made that claim even before the scheduled entrance exams and results were out. Basin nag special exam paghuman gi-check dayun.

Hopefully this time the Tallos give the required documents, since it has been mentioned by step1 that Mr. Sia claims the documents have long been with them, para dili mabitin ang DLSU.
