also...though there's no official news about this but just a personal anecdote by one of the local personal security staff assigned to ol' Blue Eyes, the Chairman of the Board, a.k.a. (the late) Frank Sinatra
when inside a hotel elevator along with other attaches, it (barong) caught the attention of Frank then asked him to back against his back or shoulder to shoulder as if to determine if they have the same size (amazingly they do have the same)
then asked him if he (frank) could try it out.....ang ending sa storya is na arbor iyang barong tagalog by no less than ol'blue eyes, the chariman of the boards---Frank Sinatra himself.

Although the a tux or a suit looks more "cool" and "sosyal" (as the TS puts it), it also looks a bit more uptight and restricting, while the Barong makes the look more dynamic and, for want of a better word, alive. Perhaps, mao tingaleng Barong ang preferred na gamiton sa haya kay para magaan pud gamay ug "life" ang patay. hehehe. ^_^

mas presentable ang mga yatafs sa states kay suit jud ug pagwapo/pagwapa ang wosh.
