Will finish stage 2 tomorrow kay hapit na 12 midnight when I finished what you see. Groggy nako, made kampat na (will recheck and correct tomorrow). Enough juice left to take a photo and share it here.

@bittel: Thanks. I need to undergo two more stages bai after I paint the other details,then double check to correct minor mistakes. Then blending -> washing -> optional weathering but maybe no need kay dili man combatant si Gen. Rommel. I don't plan on sealing this yet just in case I want to repaint him (European theater as teoding mentioned). Tulog nako oi. Good night guys.

Gen. Rommel is on hold. I'm on Gunpla mode.

I have a story to tell that only teoding knows about this morning. While painting Flat White on a Gundam kit, the compressor turned off by itself. I switched it on back again. I was able to use it for some time but it turned off again. I tried to turn it on again but it didn't. teoding told me that the compressor had a thermal overload protector (sosy term for overheating prevention) and when I read the manual, naa dyud and it said, "When the compressor shuts off. NEVER turn it back on again until after it has cool down for 15 minutes." Sigh ... in my excitement two weeks ago, I never read the manual. I opened the power switch housing and the capacitor burst. Good thing my wife knows a bicycle assembler who told her I should look for the capacitors downtown. Sige ko tuyok tuyok but good thing helpful uban stores kay i-refer ka nila to another. I finally found the two 2 Farad(?) capacitors in Fil-an but asked two guys in Hi-Tech to put one one. Sadly, dako so the capacitor is outside. My friends in Gunpla Society told me to use the compressor for 30 minutes only and let it rest for another 30 before proceeding. They said only those with tanks can be used longer.

Lesson learned: Read the manual and ask friends how to use compressors properly.

tamiya acrylic paint olive drab + 5% flat yellow for base color
nya for highlight olive drab+ 5%flat yellow+ 10% flat white.

Ha ha. One problem leads to another. I was able to paint Flat White yesterday after the compressor got repaired but it seems that despite my post-session cleaning, Flat White clogged up my AB. So I thoroughly cleaned it today but I think I over turned the nozzle (teoding did tell me not to) and it won't plug in anymore (clockwise/counter clockwise). Asa ta makapalit 0.3mm nozzle?

ok ra jud mu text ka nako anytine. mao ba? ang nozzle near sa tip sa needle? na loose-thread? mura tingali ka og hugot og lug bolt sa ligid sa awto. karon pako naka dungog ana na sitwaston. my best guess for availability for that particular part is at ebay. tabangan lang tikaw pangita. ang kuyaw lang if dili sakar kay di ta maka actual og fit.

He he. Kuwan ni bai, growing pains of learning to deal with new toys. Ma-solve ra ni hopefully, na solve man gani capacitor problem. Ako Google brand name ani plus word "nozzle" to see kung naa specific brand na fit dyud pero ako assumption generic enough ni sila to fit all ABs. Palit lang guro ko duha na klase from different sellers.

Ang nahitabo ani I think is di ba dili naman mu-on gahapon so wala nako ka clean. Inig hapon nahibulong ko ngano hinay (ako assumption is nag clog ang kato pintal gamit sa buntag). Pero karun ni clog na dyud siguro maski nalimpyo pa nako. When I dissembled clog dyud halos tanan kung asa mu agi pintal including nozzle. Ok na lagi unta pero mao lagi na sobrahan tuyok nozzle wrench. Ako sulayan unya guro balik basin dili lang ko kahibalo mu shoot pero duda nako naguba dyud.

Kung mapuol nako ani AB, Badger na lang guro sa sunod kay sigurado solid. Pros use badgers man daw.

So for now ako na lang sa tiwason Gen. Rommel ug kato Brummbar while hunting for a nozzle.
