Yes and as it evolves, the questions become more and more complicated. Instead of studying the universe, now, we have multiverses to understand.

Instead of particle as the building block of matter, now, we have these very, very small vibrating strings of energy (string theory). Instead of 3 (x,y,z) dimensions, now we are dealing with 11 dimensions.

All these confusion starts with a very simple question: How does the universe work? Kun maski simple question lisud gihapon tubagon sa science unya duna'y mga tawo nga nagtoo nga science has all the answers, dili kaha kanang mga tawhana FAITH pud ang ilang gisaligan? Kun mao, patas ra ta (theist ug atheist) so we should just respect each other's belief. Dili ka'y magpalabwanay.

Dili man ka motuo nga dunay supernatural entity nga involve sa atong universe, so why the kfcu bother asking the question in the first place?

The Fukushima nuclear problem was caused by man and its science. Period. Now, where is your science?

Hain man ang imong gipaka-dios nga SCIENCE adtong panahona?

Sidenote: I know this is not for me, just wanna throw my two cents in.
[1] Science did not claim to have control over things or stop calamities.
[2] Any reasonable atheists don't blame God for whatever disaster/misfortune. Blaming something they don't believe in just don't make sense. It is pretty much the same with "I am blaming Lord Voldemort for the earthquake and tsunami in Japan".

And you know what's funny? Theists said it is God's punishment sa mga Japanese coz they (Japanese) don't believe in the Christian God. So tell me, is acknowledging God as behind these tragedies the same in context with blaming him?

Diyos man kaha siya?

Does science claim to have control over things? My ignorant mind says no.

This is a fallacy called hasty generalization.

That is exactly the reason nganong gitawag nga anti-GOD/anti-Christ ang TS (Mark V.)

There is a BIG difference sa word nga 'mapahunong' ug 'gihunong'.

Kaning ingon aning klaseng discussion, wala man gyu'y kahumanan kay ang either sides (atheist or theist) nagtuo man gyud nga ang ilang position maoy sakto.

No, but some atheist/anti-GOD said so. By the way, do you believe that someday science will have naturalistic answer to everything ? Why? Why not?

i'll tell you what you did with Atheists for about 1500 years. you outlawed them from the universities,
or any teaching careers, besmirched their reputations, banned or burned their books or their writings of any kind.
drove them into exile, humiliated them, seized their properties, arrested them for blasphemy.

you dehumanized them with beatings and exquisite torture, gouged out their eyes, slit their tongues, stretched, crushed,
or broke their limbs, tore off their breasts if they were women, crushed their scrotums if they were men, imprisoned them,
stabbed them, disemboweled them, hung them, burnt them alive.

And you have nerve enough to complain to me that i mock, laugh, and spit at your Religion and God?
