NBC cancelled a lot of shows together with Outsourced ("The Event" among others). I never liked NBC's way of doing things. Outsourced was doing well during the first few episodes because of the time slot they were in, then they dropped in ratings after they were moved to a different time slot. Same thing happend with the Conan-Leno controversy where Conan ended up moving to a different station. I hope outsourced gets picked up by cable, like comdey central or TBS.

This is what I don't like with US TV shows---a slight drop in the ratings could mean permanent cancellation. There are cancelled shows with good plots that I enjoyed in the past---shows like FlashForward (to which the audience were left with a hanging plot), Trauma, and Undercover... now Outsourced! What's next? Fringe and Lie To Me?
