@Rodski:
If that's your way of thinking bro. Destruction of our country and as a "christian" nation is inevitable.
Angay mo panghipuson usa bro kay daghan pa kayo ug problema ang atong nasud karon nga gi-atubang then naa sad mo nagsige ug lawgaw!

UNSA NAMAN IMONG TUBAG BRO IF "MAKAUYON BAKA NGA ANG IMAGE SA IMONG ANAK IN ANA-ON?".
TUBAGA SA NA UG TARUNG PARA MAKASABOT KO KUNG UNSA JUD KA KA RATIONAL SA IMONG PANGHUNA-HUNA.
I don't get what the fuss is all about. CCP had every right to close down the gallery due to security threats. You can't expect people to not get offended because this is RELIGION we are talking about here people. Like it or not, people still believe in medieval garbage.
Double standards. The constitution guarantees rights to religious zealots who picket and call homosexuals spawn of Satan and such, yet people who voice their disgust over the church are quickly censored and ridiculed. How medieval the Philippines is indeed.
See, this is the reason why everyone keeps missing the point.
If I were a lawyer, and defending a criminal, does that mean I'm a criminal too?
I am not trained to be an art critic, but here is what I have to say about that art work--it was done in poor taste (I bet you were dying to hear me say this), I feel it's a pale imitation of Dadaism, executed in a rather tongue-in-cheek mediocre manner, as far as artistic skill is concerned...but...but...
...that is NOT the point.
The point that everyone keeps missing (I mean, the "stand" of people like me here in this thread) is not about the QUALITY or ARTISTIC MERIT of this work--it doesn't matter if it's ugly or beautiful, the issue is freedom of expression and its curtailment/censorship.
What I'm trying to defend is not the QUALITY of this art installation--I'm trying to defend what it stands for, in the backdrop of any citizen's right to freedom of expression. This guy obviously has a message for the church, and as an open-minded individual, even if I find his work to be ugly, he has succeed in calling my attention to what he had to say or express.
If we were NOT living under a democracy, I wouldn't even be in this thread, but we are, and as a citizen living in a democracy, I have to point out what is wrong with this current situation.

Its totally an artwork man gyud. Ugly artwork lang.
Puwede raman unta ta mo saway sa bati nga trabaho.
Karon gi pa tang2x kay bati lagi wala nasad ta ni respetar sa nag himo.
Gi kuhaan man sad katungod kalooy sad.
Bahalag bati basta barugan ug kamatyan sa nag himo.![]()
It is pointless to answer this question. You will just respond with:
"Aha! Tan-awa, bulag man diay ka sa imong asawa ug anak...kalooy pod nimo dong oi, mao diay nga twisted imong mind, siguro dili ka maayo nga bana ug tatay, mao nga kay broken family man ka. You are not a good example to the people in this thread. Kami nga mga God-fearing people kay naa man ni pamilya, ug nag respitar mi sa among mga kapamilya, unlike you...mao nga kami ang normal, ug ikaw kay abnormal. So ayaw mo pag tuo ni Rodion kay buang na siya! Praise the lord God almighty!"
You people are just too effing predictable at times
Ako ba diay ang CCP? Ako ba diay ang nag declare that this is a piece of art and allowed it to be displayed in the CCP? I agree with CCP's decision, but unfortunately, I do not have power over what items can be displayed in it or not, for I am not an art scholar

Only those people that have a seared conscience can comment like that bro! Im not sure if you have rightly evolved...supposedly your moral should be higher than the primitive minds. Ni evolved na gud ka. Unsa diay evolution nimo about sa morality, mopadulong ug decline?
