what about if they both find a song that they both like? that way she wont irk her future mommy in law? All is well that ends well. If one can reach a compromise or meet each other halfway then conflict is avoided!

the future mother-in-law has nothing to do about it, it's not her wedding, maybe her song would just be played during the reception nlang if ganahan gyud cya..

let her ask her mother-in-law what's wrong with the march song she has chosen. maybe her mother-in-law has a point. in this situation i would likely ask for all the opinion i might need - mother-in-law not excluded (might be easier said than done) - i've never been wedded before so i know very little. but of course still keeping in mind what i want.
