If what you have in mind is a group for anime and manga enthusiasts (of the extreme haha), then i guess it differs a bit. The groups mentioned above also have anime and manga enthusiasts, but the groups specialize more on cosplay or Japanese culture, and most active members were friends already from the start (i guess, except for CIO AMAGE and CCC, because almost everyone were only online acquaintances and have never met before when it started). I also observe that most members of said groups are more of a casual anime watcher, that is to say they watch a number of anime series recommended by someone, or popular, or they happened to discover. I believe there are quite a few people here in Cebu who painstakingly watch and anticipate a lot of series per season, and could even write a lengthy reaction paper for each series haha. If you want to start a group specializing on anime/manga/whatnot, you need that kind of people to get started haha. Para naay unod ang group and naay maka guide for casual anime watchers na members.
I believe TS stands for thread starter. And i'm not sure if the term "otaku" should be used quite lightly, unless you really are one.
