religion and god is all in the mind.. mao gani ni ang reason na dili ko mutuo.. i'm not born with any allegiance to anyone so why would i re-legion? lol

bitaw oi, we're not born with religion rather, we grew up with it. as we grow, we encounter a lot of things that might affect/influence our perception, principle, and insight about how things are working in this life so we switch and opt with other beliefs that would define our outlook in life. other times, we opt to not belong to anything at all as these beliefs don't fall on your category of beliefs. to each his own.

I was born a Catholic, but my husband is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons in other words hehe). Di man siya ganahan mobalhin sa katoliko, and lately nadismaya man ko sa akong relihiyon tungod sa binuhatan sa mga church leaders.

So I've decided ako nalang mobalhin. Pero the way I see it, it's like when you have dual citizenship. Pwede ko simba sa Katoliko, pwede sa Mormons. Di man ko guro mapriso ba. I can't just renounce my Catholic faith diha-diha. It's just there are Catholic doctrines that I don't want to accept, and there are Mormon doctrines as well nga di ko ganahan.

if you have problems with your faith, you first have to discover why and not just try to solve it by transferring to another cause believe me you will not find it. A religion is a principle, kung muadto kag lain you have to start from scratch cause they both have different principles. Even if let's say from christianity to judaism, murag same same rana sila but they are different. If you want to transfer, honestly, you have to forget your problem.

ni balhin kay tungod sa iyang pagtuo or naay transformation. people change not because ni balhin sila sa ilang religion pero merely through faith. Take note what matters most is your personal relationship with GOD and not religion.

ang kataw.anan kay ang from katoliko to mormons or to whatever christian denomination.. pareha ra man tawon nga bible inyoha gi basa hahaha.... nag pasabot ra na nga ang bible itself is a book of conflict of ideas kay imbes nga i-unite ang mga believer in to one using whatever flowery words the bible has na bahin2x naman hinoon hehehe....

as to why ngano mag balhin2x.. it is perhaps because the answer is not really religion or perhaps you are too weak and insecure to accept the reality of this world that you look for a religion or a sect where you can cower and hide hoping that your new found group will ease your pain and provides a glimmer of hope in this trying world.. a false hope
