i go for this. nagka daghan ang sakyanan pero ang kalapad sa kadalanan mao gihapon.

I would suggest nga i change ang system sa vehicle registration, mura man og less expensive, sayun ra kaayo makatag-iya og sakyanan kay sa Japan for example luxurious na kaayo ang private vehicle. Pero diri sa atoa bisan og karag-karag na, dagan lang gihapon sa syudad. Mas maayo sad nga mag butang ta og MRT, para mas daghan ang sakay. Discipline must be implemented nga station by station ang mga loading og unloading.

my 2 cents, invest on public transportations. if and when the time comes that the public transportation becomes more attractive than private vehicles then wala nay traffic.

I believe in public transportation ie Buses, Rail ... issue is budgeting and working with PUJ unions to lessen jeep , taxi ..

the way I see it... ang solution is to decentralize growth by improving the transportation infrastructure to the province. That way ma decrease ang travel time to areas as far north as Lilo-an and as far south as Minglanilia / Carcar...

This will do the ff things:

1. Decongest / Spread out the growth sa cities (Cebu / Mandaue)
2. Allow more residential, industrial and commercial growth sa North and South
3. Bring in added investments since there are now more opportunities for growth both in the provinces and in the city since there is less of a congestion problem.

We cannot just keep widening roads, adding more flyovers and cramming more people per area diri sa cities while sa provinces, pwerteng mingawa... Dapat balanced approach where maka grow tanan properly.

Stricter implemented rules ..... Higher fines ..... connect traffic violations to higher premiums on insurance ? OH! I forgot , most jeepney's don't have insurance , Taxi's may have but I've heard its a lil difficult to claim
