Audioengine A2, Creative T40 or Bose Companion 2

I thought before that my bose companion 5 was the best when I got them and just had one problem with them being ONLY usb input.. but as soon as I got the m-audio av40 and this is just their low-midrange 2.0 speakers, my bose don't seem to sound as good as my m-audio anymore.. the SQ is just different so I think bose speakers are pretty much hyped up only.

@Foshow, have you tried to compare the Focal Xs 2.1 with Usb input compared to the companion 5 you have? Coz Im just wondering if I made the right decision in buying the focal compared to bose.

@jojobanana92400: oh, don't ya worry cuz I assure you the Focal Xs 2.1 will sound better than the Bose Companion 5 in SQ even if I haven't heard the Focals yet. I have read reviews on the Focal speakers before and they do make some of the finest speakers and drivers in the world on their A/V speakers basing on my research. The only thing that made me get the Companion 5 was the ability to produce a 5.1 sound in a 2.1 setup and it does it perfectly.

I would rather go for the Audioengine.. Asa man ka makapalit ana boss and where? The white one looks wonderful... It would match my new White 600T...

Naa kuno baligya sa mga Dexterton outlets in Manila. Suwaya nakog adto sa Greenbelt 5 on Saturday if i can find the time. Yeah, im leaning towards the white, that is if it really performs as good as the reviews say. I think right now, the bose is slightly drifting away from the possible options.

@TS: what is your budget? & what will you be using the speakers mainly for? music or gaming or movies? will the setup be in a big or small room? quiet or loud area?

Budget: preferably sana, not beyond 7k. But if i see that the A2 is worth the extra cash, 9k is ok. Any more beyond that, i'd have to go for the Z5500. Setup will be basically for music and gaming and in a pad of about 28sq.m. in a quiet area.

A5 = 16,500

@keropi: where will you audition the A2s? i personally own an A2 & fits my needs...i know sir andz has an A5. initially i liked the sound of the A5s but they were too big for me, & my room is really small, & since i use my headphones most of the time, the A5s were an overkill. if you can, try auditioning also the M-Audio AV40 - some actually prefer they're sound signature over the AudioEngines. YMMV.

I go for Audioengine! specially A5 thou but A2 sounds awesome!

yes A5 is slightly big, it depends on the user thou. M-Audio is good as well!

I have both Logitech Z5500 & Audioengine A5 = Both are good, A5 wins by sound quality.
