Question about RAM.

i have here a 4gb ram nya nag install ko ug windows xp 64bit. pag tanaw nako sa my computer properties kay 2.93gb ra ang naka butang. Sa BIOS kay 4gb.

unsay ako buhaton?

its normal AFAIK. since manufacturers don't consider 1Mb as 1024Kb , the standard for them is 1Mb = 1000Kb.. so short nkag **24Kb every Mb... atleast thats how they do the set the standard..same sa HDD pd, if you buy a 320Gb HDD, you wont expect to get the full 320Gb.. = back me up if im right, correct me if im wrong

naa mana programs na imu i set ang amount sa RAM na i consume. para unta pa-paspas sa PC pero mkapahinay diay.. example is k2 RAM utility sa Buffalo.
