But it;s been a week now, and we plan to adopt a new one. I'm just afraid that the parvo virus is still present within the floors of the house where my previous puppy used to run around. I don't want my new pup to catch the disease.

I'll take the advice given earlier and quarantine him in my room to make sure that he doesnt catch the virus too.
There is way to keep your puppies safe and also avoid that parvo virus make sure that the mother of the puppies is vaccinated before she gets pregnant. These vaccines can be given at any veterinary office. When you get a puppy from somebody, it is very important to ask if they have been vaccinated yet. If they said yes, ask if the breeder gave the vaccine or if it was given at a veterinary office and how the vaccine was stored.
The main thing to remember is to keep everything as clean as possible.

The breeder will give me the pup's vet book - according to them, the pup has already had its first 5-in-1 vaccine. When i get it tomorrow, i'll stop by the vet to get a few vitamins to boost up its immune system to ensure that it wont get hit by the virus as well.

it's such a small little one.. i was really hesitant coz it being so tiny, it might just catch the virus on the first day here! gah!! i dont want to lose another baby

dont be too worried, i think your pup will go well. just follow the advises on this thread. bleach the place and quarantine your new pup for another month or until his vaccinations are complete. enjoy your new pup!

    another question...

Since i have a 3 year old spitz who also lives in the house, it's impossible to separate them. Kiat kau siya and he will not stop to see what furball i have in my hands, so theyre bound to interact.

He has already had his parvo shots, but since the spitz goes in and out of the house, he could be carrying the virus from the outside, right?

    My question is...
My new pup has already had his 1st 5-in-1 shot... will that be enough to keep the parvo virus away from his system until his next shot? or is the 1st shot not enough and he is still at risk of being infected?

    NO.

thats the reason you have to keep him restricted as much as possible.
1 shot of 5-in-1 vaccs is not enough in phl setting, the reason why common
practice is up to 3 or sometimes 4 shots of 5-in-1.
