There's a reason why your threads got locked. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the reason. And no, it's not personal. Kay kung personal pa, hagbay ra unta to na close imong conspiracy thread.

Mods should not close threads like for example "c. theories" .

I don't see any reasons to close it all.. its was just 2 or 3 users who spam the thread defending their sides.

I'm a nice guy, but when I see I rat in the house, I do my best to eliminate it, to help prevent the spread of disease. Other houses may tolerate rats, but not my house.

btaw gpasagdahan nlang btaw na sila..pero topic is moderator evaluation man unofficial lang..so i guess this is a nice avenue to talk about ani na matter..parehas ra gd kng mag sturya ta ug movie..mag discuss ta kng unsa kabati ang kadto na specific na scene or unsa kanindot ang lain na scene kng kinsa unta mas nice na director or okay natong director sa movie..pero all in all what we discussed won't change the movie at all kai na shoot nman...so i guess pasagdahan nlang jd nang mga mod kai sila pa gd ang ni volunteer or whatever sa pag bantay sa forum and they're not even paid to do it. so i guess pasagdahan nlang jd na sila pero..naa mani na thread nya ang topic is a nice avenue to post some problems or grievances sa mga mods..at the end of the day sila rman ghapon ang boss..pero just like what springfield said mod evaluation wla lang personlay.

Ok now pause and think for a moment--do you see me criticizing these threads:

I only point out threads and discussions that as moderator, I have responsibility to question, due to the possible HARMFUL implications of the said discussion. Go and ask any LAW-ABIDING person wherever you are--when you discuss about the government LYING to you, that is a SERIOUS accusation, and the better venue for that sort of discussion is a court of law, NOT a public forum wherein young people who have very easily malleable minds can be coerced/forced into thinking in the skewed manner that these threads sometimes try to emphasis (i.e. "See? Bright man mi, kay nakit-an namo nga ga-lie ang government and they are not telling the truth and are deceiving the people! Mas bright me kaysa government kay wala mi nila nailad!"). So as you can see, from an academic standpoint, this kind of encouragement is DANGEROUS and IRRESPONSIBLE, and we moderators of iStorya.net are tasked with the job of eliminating discussions which promote such ideas.

When I used my rat analogy, I wasn't referring to people/persons--I was referring to ideas, ideas that can turn a logical mind into one filled with needless paranoia, doubt and a wrongful feelings of vengance/hate against those who "conspire against us".

If given the choice of whether to promote level-headedness or to promote paranoia, I'd quicky go with the former, and eliminate any traces of the latter.

To be frank, usahay may pagka 'tough' ug 'sensitive'bitaw pud si boss rodsky labi na didto sa science section ug sa mga pipila ka atheist vs theist threads.

Pero super agree to anang iyang point sa taas. Dili man gud nato ma-ensure nga ang tanang makabasa sa mga controversial threads mga responsible mind. Dili man tanan fully-equipped anang gitawag og critical analysis. Labina og sagol-sagolon ang facts ug fiction, kadaghanan maglisud gyud og separate asa ang tinuod, asa pud ang bakak. OK lang na sa korte kay ayagon man gud didto ang tanang impormasyon hangtud mogawas ang lintunganay'ng kamatuoran.
