in layman's term stock market is just the same as the wet market where everything is traded(buy and sell of products)

stocks are more like the whole price or capital nga giinvestment sa usa ka company on their businesses. it's like the price of a whole pizza for example.

shares taken from the example of a pizza divided into several parts mao na gitawag nga shares mao na ang pwede nimo paliton and it comes with different prices. when you buy shares then you own a part of their money invested on their businesses. meaning if mutaas ang prices per share if you happen to have shares napalit so mutaas sad ang value sa imo share thats the time mugain ka sa imo giinvest.

companies - well daghan nindot nga companies bai ex. jollibee, mcdonals, ayala, sm, etc.. depende na sa imo if asa ka mupalit ug shares. so you need to do your assignment para ana.

selling ur some shares to other interested parties. let say for example you own 100% of SMC & u want to expand ur business & you dont have the funds for it. one way to raise funds is to sell some shares of your company to other investors. out of the 100% ownership you have with SMC ul sell just 20% of the company leaving ur ownwership at 80% nalang. ang quoting pud sa stock rate depends on how big, the income and the possible ROI or return of investment for the investors.

mao jud bro and much more easier pa jud to let go of the opportunities esp if maminaw sad ka sa mga tao nga wala say alamag.

knowledge is power, learn from the people who practice and experienced it and not to the people who only do critics nya utro sad way alamag.

I agree. It's best to listen to people who know what they are doing. Usually, these are the people that do it for a living (the professionals, like JP Morgan Chase & Co. in IT park). In any case, "playing" in the stock market can be very lucrative but the risk that comes along is pretty high (for my comfort at least). So pwede ka ma dato OR ma pobre ug dali. If you have money to invest, safer (but not risk free) options would be mutual funds, buying property (real estate), or even life insurance plans (PRU Life, also sa IT park, has some pretty good ones). Your returns with these type of investments will take some time pero they won't be as fast and as high as the returns you may get from stock trading...pero guaranteed much safer gyud. Disclaimer: I am not an expert on this topic (haha obvious ba?), this is my humble opinion lang.
