Normally this should be in the software section. But knowing that a lot of the photographers use Mac together with Lightroom & Photoshop. This article is worth reading.

Other issues affect the massively popular Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software, with the "droplets" feature being broken in Photoshop CS3, CS4 and CS5. On top of this, in Illustrator CS5, save or export is disabled from the "Save As" and "Export" dialog when saving to the desktop. In Adobe Lightroom, Nikon cameras are having issues with tethered shooting, with Adobe's only workaround being "remain on Mac OS 10.6.7 until the issue is resolved." Adobe Lightroom 2.7 is now no longer listed as "working."

By the way... I'm a Windows user

Just reminding everyone that the intention of this post is to share the information and not to start a windows vs mac topic. I indicated in my post that I'm a windows user just to clarify in case someone else might ask why I care to share this when I don't even have a mac machine.

this is true, ako gi verify sa iMac sa akong kauban nga upgraded to Lion naay mga certain features sa CS5 nga di mo work. So i decided to stay lang osa sa akong latest installed version para di ko mg blema sa akong MAC+CS5.

Adobe will probably come out with the fixes. They usually do. The easiest solution to this for Mac users is not to upgrade. It's normal for any new operating system to have problems with 3rd party applications. It's either the OS kept changing during its beta stage that the 3rd party software developers can't keep up. Or the 3rd party software devs themselves are just too slow to keep up

So many photographers & videographers who are PC users, migrated to Mac because Photoshop and the rest of the Adobe Suite supposedly "runs smoother".

Now they have these problems with their new OS.

pag mantinir nalang diha ug cactus juice. hihi yeah, nothing wrong with waiting. ako gani, I don't move on to the latest os version. I usually wait around 6 months

Is this true? just ordered my 2nd mac mini with lion pre-installed.
